Very good location for first time visiting Seoul. Walking distance to Myengdong district and short ride for the Gangnam area. The hotel is located 3 min to the limousine bus stop 6002.

Great hotel, great location, but ....

I wonder if the 1-star reviews on Google are fake and if people can read (for example, no air conditioning in winter and opening windows is clearly described).
The location of the hotel is ideal in the center, 5 minutes to the subway station.
Very good value for money. Beautiful, large, and cozy room with a window that can be opened and has a fly screen.
Korean clean room (not CH-standard ;) ) No torn pillowcases. Clean bed linens.
Great bathroom, clean towels, large shower towel. No splashed bath (how do people shower?) Electric shock from the toilet seat is supposed to be a joke. A great bidet. No mold in the bathroom. Hot water was not a problem. A great bathtub.
Free coffee in the lobby, still water, there is a microwave and noodles for emergencies.
But:
The bed was catastrophically soft and sagging (a hole) where everyone lies. I slept with my head on the foot part and at the edge against the wall. The quality of sleep was therefore poor.
There are no light switches by the bed. Only a main switch at the entrance.
I do not understand how one hires staff at the reception in a hotel in the center of the capital of the country that does not speak English.
The room description on booking.com is incorrect; you do not get the amenities described there in the double room, e.g., whirlpool, coffee machine, sofa, computer ... Which I also did not need.

Great location close to downtown and metro and many restaurants, coffeeshops and streetfood stalls near by. If you arrive with the airport shuttle 6002, Google map will not help you. Ycou need to go through a small alley to the back entry.

2nd time staying that this hotel and each time has been near perfect. Super close to shopping and food. Front desk staff is always friendly.
