Great location. Everything you need is just a short walk away. Bus stops are close. Train stations are close. Host is amazing and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in Seoul.

Do not stay here you have been warned.
0/10 0 stars it has extremely bad customer service and the place it's very run down looks nothing like the photos. It is truly terrible I sent three messages over the months to management with no reply whatsoever. This was a bad experience which is evidenced by management never responding to your concerns. Please reconsider staying here you have been warned. Thankyou!

Never again

My experience at this place was very disappointing. When I arrived, I greeted the staff, they ignored me (said hi but didn’t talk to us or acknowledge us after that emotionless Hi ) and continued speaking to each other in French, giving the impression they were talking about us. They didn’t assign beds to us or show us around. Just told us our room was upstairs. Later that night, I found someone sleeping in my bed, forcing me to use an unmade, uncomfortable bed instead.
The atmosphere stayed unfriendly, and when my friend left a review about our experience, the staff responded by accusing us of being rude instead of taking responsibility. FYI we were NOT at some point we gave them the same energy back and that’s that. Overall, this place felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a friendly stay. + the beds are really uncomfortable as well.

Poor quality, not welcoming.

After 4 flights of very steep stairs, i was shown old bunkbeds with uncomfortable matresses. My bed had the a/c unit right over my head, buzzing and prepping me for pneumonia. I asked if I could change to the empty bunk, but was told I had to check with a guest who hadn't checked in yet, instead of taking some ownership of actually managing a hostel.
Breakfast is only from 9 till 10.30am!! Most of the world already has half a day done by that time.
It is run by a young french couple and unfortunately they confirm the stereotype of a being a bit stuck up. I did not feel welcome, nor comfortable here.

Good location and hostel for the right crowd

Stayed at the hostel for a night and that was enough for me. If you’re in Seoul to party and be out all night, this is a great hostel, but it wasn’t the right vibe or setting for me. Street noise is very loud at all hours and most guests went out all night and slept till 3pm.
Hostel is in an old building so there’s no elevator (and 4 flights of stairs), painfully small rooms and old bathroom/shower combos. Common areas are smaller too but there is a nice rooftop for fresh air. Laundry is available but takes a very long time (staff does it) so build that in. Took 4 hours for mine to get done with no queue.
Hostel is also very cluttered. There are boxes, hanging bedding and junk just everywhere. I almost didn’t recognize it from the photos. I’m sure there’s no storage due to it being an old building but it doesn’t make a great impression.
Staff is nice and speaks good English.
Personally I won’t stay again but depending what you’re looking for, it could be a good spot.
