Near perfect!

I booked a Deluxe Family room for two nights, and got a large room with a mezzanine floor. Everything just looked perfect and exactly same as the pictures we saw when booking. Thumbs up! In the room there were 3 single beds, and two mattresses on the mezzanine floor, so in total it could fit up to 5 persons. The room comes with a private toilet and bathroom.
Breakfast is DIY. They were toast, eggs, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, tea, jam, butter and peanut butter you can freely use. Walking distance to Hongdae center takes about 20-25 mins, there were alot of cozy bars, restaurants, shops that you wont feel bored with. Although it's not extremely far, but walking from Hongdae back to the hotel with all the heavy shopping bags could be tiring for that amount of walking.
I did enjoy this place, but next time when I come to Hongdae again I will choose somewhere more central location.
Note: Towels provided by the guesthouse is rather small, more like a size of face towel. So, do bring your own if you see this as a problem.

Perfect place to stay

The staff were very friendly and the guesthouse is perfect to stay over. Roi has a good balance of making new friends and staying quietly at night. I stayed in dormitory room but never felt any inconvenience or things. And I didn’t have to bring my own shampoo/conditioner/body wash and toothpaste. I’ll definitely stay here when I visit Seoul again.

Right in the middle of the heart of Seoul, Hongdae

Ok, Its going to be hard reviewing about this place without talking about Hongdae. Walkable distance from the park, nightlife and artistic cafes. The guesthouse even has it's own artistic cafe. It's one of the korea tourism organization "safe stay" houses AND for my koreaboos, infinite challange was shot in this guesthouse
I don't know if they just used the space or actually slept there but I felt like a celebrity through out my stay there. Being in the heart of the city, I never worried about food with an array of option all around and some opened 24hrs. I stayed there in October, spring and fall are the perfect times to see korea
Not too cold and not too hot.

A nice stay!

I've been very well welcomed by the staff, caring and friendly. Not expensive and in a quiet place, although not far from the busy Hongdae quarter. This is not luxurious but nothing is missing for the basic facilities.
On the ground floor is a small restaurant where you can enjoy fresh food, for a reasonnable price as well.

Perfect stay during trip!

We were on our way to Daegu and needed a affordable place to stay in Seoul. Eventually we ended up at Roi House who provided us with a perfect place to stay. Very clean, nice and friendly staff.
Only thing we had a problem with were the directions to get to the hostel. We had no internet and couldn't get there with the direction from the site so we had to ask some people. But that aside; I would gladly recommend staying here!
