Very cozy and convenient ecolodge

Casa Cumbres was a delightful surprise find, booked somewhat last-minute 2 weeks into a three-week trip to Colombia. It is in a fantastic setting with many hectares of restored and preserved forest. There are many trails onsite and guided hikes can be arranged. I felt I was only scratching the surface in exploring and birding the high-quality piedmont habitat. The facilities were great, food was very good and staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend as a starting and/or stopping point in exploring the Llanos.

Great base in Yopal to explore the Llanos!

All around fantastic hotel experience in Yopal. A friend and I went to explore the Lllanos after New Years. We loved the rooms with shower/bathroom, pool, meals, hammocks, and just about everything. We stayed two nights. On our last morning I went on a guided hike with Hugo through the tropical forest area above the hotel area. We saw monkeys, birds, and incredible trees, plants, and flowers. 10 out of 10 for Hugo and the whole team! One item to note, it's a pretty steep incline to reach the hotel. I drove (all wheel drive Toypota Rav-4) and it was totally fine, but I was glad to know about it ahead of time.

Great adventure

A really beautiful experience. Great service and staff. Wonderful food and kitchen service. The safari is quite an adventure. We found the local culture very open and welcoming. We loved our stay there. Unfortunately we left way too soon.

CasaCumbres: Hidden Gem in Yopal and Los Llanos

This is a beautiful place just 10 minutes from the city of Yopal. The accomodations are great, the food was excellent and the attention is superb. It's a place surrounded with amazing nature, and wonderful scenery and views! I highly recommend CasaCumbres!

Best place to stay in Yopal for a nature experience

Amazing ! A hotel in complete nature. There are also hikes in the jungle with amazing birdlife and a chance for sloth and Monkeys. Food was amazing and the staff super friendly.
The rooms are really comfortable and spacious. The only potential negative is that It's about 15 mins from the City, but the food here is great so it's not a big downside
