This hotel was good from a room perspective. There was a couple of issues outside of that which explain the low star rating.
First, the breakfast absolutely destroyed my stomach for days. This coming from someone who does not get sick from food very often if ever. Do not eat here. I don't know what was wrong with it. It tasted fine but that's about it.
The second issue was a balance that I supposedly owed to the property. Typically when I have a balance, that is settled upon checkout. It was stated at checkout there was no additional charges. However, they then called me two days after checkout at 11:15pm (10:15pm their time) about a $25 USD charge. Really? It's fine if it was missed at checkout and you call but at that hour?

Excellent friendly hotel with clean, small room, but a bit noisy overnight

Clean small room with a very comfortable double bed and en suite shower, a fridge & a safe. Very friendly, helpful staff who kept our bags for a few hours after check out in a locked room. Good breakfast served on a small patio.
The only negative was a lot of overnight noise from within the hotel - shouting and doors banging. As it was a Saturday night you can forgive the street noise given the great city location. Poblado streets felt very safe. It’s an upmarket neighbourhood and the street is well lit.

This place was spectacular, we will definitely be back here! I recommend it if you want to enjoy the most of your vacation, we also enjoyed the good service, the treatment was excellent and friendly! Five stars! This citio I recommend to families and couples of all ages
