Quiet, beautiful grounds, great staff

This hotel has beautiful grounds, set outside the town so it was quiet and peaceful. The views over the valley are fantastic.
The pool is fantastic and a welcome relief from the heat.
The rooms are large but basic with an attached bathroom.
We were there for 4 days and ate at the hotel several times. The menu isn’t extensive but the food was good.
It’s a taxi or drive if you want to got to town.

Not recommended

Excessively expensive for what it offers. Dirty rooms and the hotel in very bad condition, you can tell they have not been maintained in years. Bad service. Bad and expensive. I don't recommend it to anyone. The service is very bad too and the attitude of the people they serve.

A "country-ish" hotel. Enchanting sceneries

Great hotel and fantastic service. It is not a fancy hotel by any means, but then again, La Pintada is the middle of nowhere. However, it is a great pit stop between Medellin and the Eje Cafetero (coffee axis). If you want to travel to Pereira, Armenia, Manizales - where coffee grows, then coming down from Medellin I strongly recommend an overnight in this delightful hotel.

Our daughter's wedding

We traveled here in February 2018 to host our daughter's wedding to a young Colombian American man. We had over 200 guests coming from all over the US, Colombia, Europe, even Africa. The management and staff of the Real Dinastia were simply wonderful. They worked with us for months to arrange the affair, book all of our guests into nearby hotels, arrange transportation to and from Medellin, set up hikes, etc. We found every aspect of our stat to be wonderful and the pricing to be vert fair. The hotel facilities are more than fine. The rooms are clean and airy. The pool is super. The views are unbeatable. The food is excellent. The pricing was in all respects fair. This was our second stay at the Real Dinastia. We will return!

Overpriced! Hotel in need of renovation

Stayed here for one night. We arrived by car and where impressed when we entered the road to the hotel.
But once we saw the room and the hotel facilities we weren’t impressed anymore. On the contrary. Swimming pool didn’t appear very hygienic, no WiFi in the hotel rooms, quality of food in the restaurant below average.
Hotel was nearly empty and is in need of thorough renovation. Shower was gross.
We were glad we only booked for one night.
Price/quality not ok! For this rate we stayed in much better hotels in Colombia!
Positive: very friendly staff.
