First and definitely not my last stay, excellence and respect are what you will find during your stay.

First and foremost the location of the hotel is at the epicenter of cali, you are in the center of the city and close to all the major tourist attractions. The rooms are comfy, thank goodness for Ac because it gets hot here. The rooms themselves are nice, bedding is clean and neat, and the staff will clean the room twice a week. Oh and I highly recommend acquiring a room with a balcony, you will not be disappointed, for a view of the plazoleta is spectacular at night and during festival hours its truly a sight. 1 con of the room is the size of the bathroom, didn’t bother my experience too much, but if you’re used to a restroom plus size, it might seem small. The staff: the owners are very kind, you’ll meet them many times during your stay, as they are actively engaged in the best experience for clients. You’ll find an assortment of hard working people in the kitchen making staples of the country, (for a solid price) maintenance workers here and there, a welcoming reception desk with information about the city and equipped to handle your business needs should a issue arise. NEWS FOR TOURISTS some of the staff know English so don’t worry if your spanish is not up to par, (i was worried) but i highly recommend checking out this hotel, i definitely will have to come back to see more of cali and this is the first stop on the journey.

A very clean place, nice rooms with all the amenities and a good view. Close to several restaurants with excellent varied dishes and convenience stores.
And above all, the very friendly and attentive staff makes you feel at home at all times.

Great value. Excellent Service!

The location, price and amenities offered by the Hotel Cuarta Avenida are some of the best in Cali. I was there with family who were staying at two other major hotels and after being in both I can say that this hotel rivals them in almost every category. The staff is extremely friendly and effective even though I did not speak much spanish. Thats not to say you shouldn't try speaking a little spanish to help things along ;) Our room was extremely clean, spacious and cool when we needed it to be. The only thing that was less than great was the amount of hot water. However, while I was there the temperature was hot enough that the cool water was refreshing before or after a hot day of walking and dancing. In addition I only ate breakfast there once as there are so many places I wanted to eat, so I cant speak on any food other than the breakfast I ate which was delicious! And if you need advice on anything including salsa lessons, I encourage you to ask Alcira; she's incredibly helpful and friendly. I LOVED sitting on my balcony every morning and watching the city wake up and move. Like Cristo Reys outstretched arms, the Hotel Cuarta Avenida will embrace you with love and warmth. Take it easy in Cali and stay here.B)

Great location, friendly staff

Stayed at Hotel Cuarta Avenida during a 4 day trip to Cali. The hotel is perfectly located for walking to local restaurants, pubs, downtown, and for night life. The staff, especially Maria Ellena and Shirley, two beautiful ladies working the front desk, are very friendly and made my stay wonderful. The restaurant has the best traditional lunches that are incredibly well-priced. During the week it can fill up at lunch hour with nearby office workers. Did a private tour with Alcira (hotel tour personnel) of Christo Rey and two other point of view sight. Worth every penny. The rooms are large as I believe it used to be an apartment. The only thing that needs improving is the consistency of hot water. But that was a minor issue and would definitely stay at this hotel the next time I return to Cali.

Great Location, Perfect Apartment.

Is in more of a residential area but not far from the historical centre. The hotel is on a main road but very convenient. Great for self catering and a very clean and modern apartment. Breakfast selection which was included is very good with hot selection available. The hotel manageress was extremely helpful, she spoke excellent English and was very helpful with arranging an airport transfer and city tour. Would highly recommend this Hotel. There is a launderette close by if required.
