Best choice for Paphos stay :)
The hotel is beautiful, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. You certainly won't regret choosing this resort. A big thank you to Varvara (the sticker said Barbara) who worked at the pool bar; to Maria who worked at the terrace bar; to the guy whose name I don't remember, but who was there almost every day, taking care of pool towels, being a lifeguard, and keeping the pool clean; and to Alex and his Bulgarian lifeguards for their hard work, smiles, and daily help. Without them, my stay wouldn't have been as enjoyable. The food is delicious every day, with four different restaurants throughout the day. The pool is deep and spacious enough, and there's a beach just around the corner.
The surrounding area is beautiful, and this is definitely the best place to stay in Paphos.

Fabulous Holiday
As I promised I submitted my review on trust pilot, sorry it took so long.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Venus Beach Hotel in April/May2026. The hotel was very clean and we were impressed with the way Mirabela took pride in her work. She was also friendly which made us feel comfortable in our room. One very important thing is having a good night sleep. Our beds were so comfortable.
We always looked forward to our breakfasts in the mornings. The staff were always friendly and polite, particularly Nelli Ismerin and Dorel Hondru. Their banter between them was refreshing which made us smile and looked forward to seeing them every day.
We must not forget Barbara at the outdoor bar. She was great and always had a smile when being served. She played great music too. The swimming pool was fantastic, lovely side and very clean. The life saver was friendly and always had a smile in spite of having to sit around and patrol the swimming area for long periods of time. It was just so relaxing around the pool.
The Guest Relations Manager, Milena Jakabova went that extra mile to look after us and made sure we had everything we required during our stay at the hotel. Milena was exceptionally helpful and greeted us with a lovely smile every day.
Our overall stay at Venus Beach Hotel was one of our best holidays with beautiful views, a comfortable room and so clean everywhere. I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to book this hotel.

Disappointing experience for a hotel claiming to be 5 stars
We were very disappointed with our stay and decided to leave the hotel on the same day.
The biggest issue was hygiene. A glass of wine was served with visible lipstick marks, which is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming to be five stars. The room floor was also dusty.
We were travelling with our three year old son and were not informed at check in that the pool closed at 6:00 p.m. By the time we settled in, we had very little time to enjoy one of the hotel’s main facilities before being asked to leave.
The hotel later responded by defending its policies rather than acknowledging the overall guest experience. We were not looking for excuses or statistics about the buffet. We simply expected the standards that a five star hotel promises.
Unfortunately, our experience fell well below those expectations.

Regarding the glass of wine, we sincerely apologize once again. As soon as the matter was brought to the attention of our Head Waiter, immediate action was taken, and the glass was replaced without delay. We have also reinforced our quality control procedures with our Food & Beverage Team to help prevent similar incidents.

Charge and refresh your body and mind
A good stay with very exemplary service from all the staff- could not do enough for us.
Our stay flew by

Ok for short stay
Stayed here one night due to flight cancellation.
Check in was hard work as the gentleman couldn’t find our booking.
Bar was just closing which was odd as there were quite a few people arriving from the cancelled flight. You would have thought they would have stayed open to make more money?
Room was ok although we didn’t have any hand towels in the bathroom.
Good choice at breakfast although very small glasses to get water! Lots of flies when sitting outside which was a shame.
Didn’t go into pool but the area looked nice.
Location wise is good as it’s on the beach
