The Only Big Hotel In This PutuoShan Vicinity Area Not True
2 nights stay in this Hotel and we were told this is the biggest hotel in Putuoshan which is not true. The hotel is poorly maintained and toilet look flirty with mold no tissues, ventilation in the room not working, no stirrer in the room for my drink, not much lighting in the room., limited power plug point, no body lotion and no mineral water provide you need to get it from outside, Fridge power is off and no in room safe box. The management did not do a good job. Breakfast area served from 7am-9am no more refill at 8.30am not much varieties quality is poor staff are rude when I ask for butter knife staff answer we dun sell western food so dun have. No egg station, no porter to assist baggage, staff all dun greet at the guest.Staff should be train and be more proactive however I dun see in their service mindset and attitude. Knowing this is a small island population is very small and depend only on tourists business. Management in black jacket and staff there look like a doormat doing nothing except receptionist. Yet staff still can play badminton in uniform at the hotel entrance really enjoy their life like no body business no discipline at all I guess they are owner or relative of the boss. Wifi only available at the lobby area and no wifi on Sunday. I dun have any good memories in this hotel. If I go back again to this island I will never stay here again.

Ok in terms of location,one can walk to 2 of the famous temple nearby. Cleanliness was poor. I found some used slippers underneath my bed. The restaurant in the hotel serves decent vegetarian food though.

Good hotel if you lower your expectations
There really are not many places to stay if you are going to putuo mountain. Stayed here for one night. Our rooms were still clean enough and comfortable enough. Location is excellent because of its proximity to the temple. Although there are other hotels closer to the temple than this one. There is a beach also across the street from the hotel entrance. It does have a good view but don't expect relaxation and peace because the place is really crowded with pilgrims. Also a good photography spot because of the giant buddha clearly seen on a distance. The main reason people stay here is because of the pilgrimage and not for vacation or business so this hotel does the job well. The food is disgusting. I have tried vegetarian cuisine that are a lot better than the ones here. Not much choices if you're going to putuo shan and i dont know if the other hotels here are similar to this one. But we should remember that we go here for spiritual reasons and not to live in luxury and extravagance so I guess we should not complain.

I will not stay here again
We stayed here for one night while visiting Putuoshan.
Upon arrival at the room, we were greeted by a foul stale smell. The musty smell coupled with the remains of the cigar odor was really awful.
The condition of the room was not satisfactory.
1. The toilet door could not be closed.
2. The water do not drain well in the bathtub. Hence, the waste water accumulated while you are showering.
3. The beds were not comfortable.
4. The extra bed which we requested for was extremely squeaky. In the end, I told my sister who is sleeping on the extra bed to share my bed.
5. Carpet in the room looks dirty.
We had breakfast at the hotel and the quality of the food is below average. Variety were very limited and generally the food is just not up to standard.
Restaurant staff merely stand around and do not appear to be helpful and will not take initiative to serve tea or coffee.
However, the location of this hotel is convenient. It is within walking distance to some of the important attractions on Putuoshan. The hotel also provides shuttle service between the pier and the hotel.
There is a beach outside the hotel but do not look inviting.
If I were to return to Putuoshan again, I will not stay at this hotel again.

Vale meno di PESSIMO
La Pulizia è pessima.
Abbiamo visto con mia moglie "Pulire il bagno" : hanno usato il tappetino del bagno per pulire il water,sena mai usare acqua e detersivo.Inoltre la mattina alle colazioni mancavano sia le uova fritte che il TE'!!!!!
