Good InterContinental Property
Very Good Intercontinental Property, the service standards may fall short in some areas (depending on what your expectations are, and i can be a difficult cookie) , but overall a good property. Good well equipped rooms, attentive staff, excellent service & cuisine standards at Club Intercontinental, IHG status recognised at check-in, very good gym, pool looked decent but did not use, very good breakfast buffet in the main restaurant. Wayne and Ronaldo were excellent. Concierge team at the front were excellent, housekeeping staff were highly responsive (with some language challenges but not a deal breaker). thank you to all the staff. (one negative - the shower area needs proper cleaning)

Excellent stay
I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent service provided by your concierge team during my recent stay.
Upon departure, I had two large pieces of luggage and one small bag. When arranging transport, our Didi driver was initially reluctant to accommodate the additional small luggage due to items in her vehicle. One of your concierge staff stepped in promptly and professionally, ensuring that our belongings were properly accommodated. I was particularly touched by how he(I did not get the name but was working around 2pm shift 23/3) calmly but firmly advocated for us, turning what could have been a stressful situation into a smooth and reassuring experience.
This level of attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile truly reflects the high standards of your hotel. The team was consistently helpful and welcoming throughout our stay.
In addition, we enjoyed the lounge very much, and overall service was excellent. Although the room felt slightly warm at times, it did not detract from our positive experience.

Very nice hotel
I was here for a business trip. The hotel is modern and very clean. The rooms are spacious and modern. The hotel offers an excellent breakfast buffet. Many restaurants and pubs in the area are within walking distance.

My second stay at this hotel, as always the customer service is excellent, a big shout out to Ronaldo from concierge and also the female chef who remembered my from my first visit, she has amazing English and was super helpful with my dietary requirements. Room was nice, although the sink seems discoloured and should be replaced, gym was well equipped and the pool was great! Evening buffet and breakfast had extensive selection. On the negative, it was NYE and there were no decorations up so didn’t have a celebratory atmosphere which was disappointing and no fruit or welcome drink considering it is New Years, that’s probably an edict from the top that should be rectified. Small things like that make a huge difference!

Better than Ritz
Based on the positive reviews online, we stayed at this hotel for 8 days, and it proved to be a great choice. The hotel features a blend of Chinese and Western décor, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the location is both quiet and convenient. More importantly, the staff is gentle, friendly, warm, and professional. A special mention goes to the duty manager Terry, Jason from the concierge, Leon from the front desk, and the bartender at the Lobby Lounge, who all contributed to making our trip to Xi'an even more memorable. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Xi'an.
