Rooms are outdated and dirty. Not soundproof, woken up in the middle of the night by next room’s screaming from sex. Front desk didn’t confront them but offered me to change room (at 4am!), reason because “they are our hotel members”.

Nice room - friendly staff - nice restaurants about 5 minutes walk (turn left and go around the corner 😀)

Thank you, Renaissance Wuhan Hotel; thank you Merriott Bonvoy® .

I am a Titanium Elite & Lifetime Platinum member of Merriott Bonvoy®.
It was a great pleasure to stay at Renaissance Wuhan Hotel again in April and May 2025. I am a Professor at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and travel a lot due to the academic activities, e.g., meetings, conferences, and presentations. Wherever I go worldwide, I also stay at Merriott Bonvoy affiliated hotels. In Wuhan, my hometown in China, I stay at Renaissance Wuhan Hotel most of the time.
I like this hotel not only because of its location in Wuhan, but more importantly the hospitality of its leadership and staff. Specifically, I know the General Manager, Ms. Carol Shen, for quite some years. Every time I stay in this hotel, I see her in the lobby greeting the guests; in the restaurants talking to people about the food, ------ . She is such an outstanding professional and hard worker that I always appreciate each of my stay with them from the bottom of my heart!
Thank you, Renaissance Wuhan Hotel; thank you Merriott Bonvoy® .
Look forward to seeing you next time!
