A refuge among the clouds of Shenzhen

There are places that make a city seem calmer.
My stay at Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen was a special experience, especially after its recent recognition by Travel + Leisure among the best hotels in the world. But beyond the awards, what really remains are those small details that make a trip unique.
One of my favorite moments was at Tapas 77. The energy of the restaurant, the gastronomy, and, above all, the team's attention made the evening unforgettable. I want to especially highlight one of the Argentine waitresses, whose kindness and professionalism made us feel at home. We were able to chat for a while in Spanish, share stories, and enjoy that unexpected connection that sometimes appears during a trip.
I also loved discovering the new Amouage amenities, with an elegant and distinctive fragrance that added another dimension to the stay experience. Those small sensory details are what make a room become a memory.
With its impressive views over Shenzhen, its attentive service, and its serene atmosphere, Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen is a perfect refuge above the city clouds.
A stay that is remembered not only for the place, but for the people, the scents, and the moments found along the way.

Excellent experience @ Mo Bar

Mo bar is an excellent place for cocktail lovers and has great views, food was great too. Everything was excellent. Special thanks to cindy for assisting me.

Amazing Place with Amazing Service

The Mandarin Oriental in Shenzhen is a beautiful property with beautiful rooms and amazing staff. The dining staff was beyond amazing, especially the manager. But, by far the shot-out goes to Jayson Zhu, for being so accommodating and helpful and generous with his time.

An unforgettable experience at the Shenzhen Mandarin Club

The food was outstanding. We honestly did not expect to find such high-quality food in a hotel club, and we were pleasantly surprised by every meal. Everything was delicious and well-prepared.
The staff were also wonderful. They were incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely warm. They always made us feel welcome and were happy to help whenever we needed anything. This is certainly the warmest and most welcoming experience we have ever had at a hotel. We truly felt looked after and at home.
A special thank you to Sumi, Venus, and Bobby for the wonderful hospitality. Your warmth and kindness made our experience even more memorable.

Wonderful Manager

We are so indebted to this Hotel. We lost our bag in a taxi that dropped us off outside the hotel. The hotel manager Jason Zhu was able to get it back for us the next day and send it onwards to Hong Kong. This was no easy feat. The taxi had parked outside of the hotel and therefore outside its cameras. He has to ask the nearby mall’s help and their cameras only captured part of the license plate. He then went on our behalf to the police station for a couple of hours and they eventually tracked down the drive and recovered the bag. Jason spent his entire day Sunday helping us. Unbelievable.
