Perfect , I love it this hotel
JW Marriott Beijing Central is one of the most impressive hotels we’ve stayed at during our travels.
Our room was absolutely stunning—spacious, modern, and featuring a large private terrace that made the experience feel even more special. Every detail was carefully considered, from the luxurious bathroom amenities to the comfortable seating areas and beautiful city views.
What impressed us most was the level of service. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail created a truly five-star experience.
The breakfast deserves special recognition. The variety was outstanding, with a perfect mix of Western and Chinese cuisine. Everything was fresh, high quality, and constantly replenished.
The hotel combines luxury, comfort, and genuine hospitality in a way that is increasingly rare. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Beijing.

Disappointing
We arrived late at night and the check-in was actually good. We booked a private car through the hotel to the Great Wall the following day. We then discussed Tiananmen Square tickets and they said they could organise and they would be available at the Concierge desk the following day. This was not followed through and we then didn’t have any tickets. The Concierge they definitely wouldn’t have been able to do this in less than 24 hours.
The room we had was dated with a rubbish view even though I paid for an upgrade. We then discovered peanuts under the bedside table on the floor and clearly the room had not been properly cleaned. It looked very tired as well.
On checkin they put a block on your card. They then want to charge again rather than deducting from the blocked amount. We would definitely not stay here again.

Central Location
The JW is quite central for many of Beijing attractions with easy close access to the metro. Large open lobby area, fair size rooms which although dated are cleaned and serviced thoroughly. Excellent housekeeping which we couldn't fault. Thank you for the lovely surprise cake in the room for my birthday
The beds are extremely comfortable. The only issue with the room we found is that the AC is set at 21 degrees and often seems too cold and as we found out there is no option of turning temperature up or down only on or off.
The executive lounge offers exceptional service. Special thanks to Sylvia, Flora, Mia, Ella Danny & Kylie who were all friendly and courteous and tried their upmost to accommodate our wishes. Especially at executing a perfect cup of coffee :-) and finding us a nice seat
The breakfast is excellent, superb choice of buffet and eggs cooked to order 10/10
However I cannot mirror the same score for the evenings as the lounge can become too crowded. It was also noticeable that although the food choice is excellent, unfortunately the majority is cold and it would be far more enjoyable if it was actually kept warm rather than all lids left off. Having said that once it gets later and the lounge empties out a little, you can enjoy a drink and some nibbles.
Casalingo was worth trying, excellent food and wine coupled with good service.
Take note, be prepared to purchase data and not rely on their own Wi-fi as it was terrible and by far the worst we have experienced in China surprisingly

Lobby was quite impressive. Staff was super helpful. Swimming pool is big and clean. However, the rooms are a bit dated and dim. Carpet looks like it's stained from long term use. The location is ok but not within walking distance to any major shopping / ding hub

Perfect hotel for our Beijing visit
We had a wonderful stay at the JW Marriott central Beijing. Very nice hotel. We are platinum members so we enjoyed the breakfast and the lounge. The service was very good.
