An outstanding, conveniently located luxury hotel. Highly recommended.

This is an outstanding hotel, located in the north-east of the city on the road out to the airport, whilst convenient for the subway (Wangjing South station), bus services and taxis. The new Beijing Chaoyang high-speed train station is a short taxi ride away. Formerly a Marriot Courtyard is has been acquired by the Nanjing Jinling Group and remodelled. It is rated as 4 to 5 star. My wife and I stayed here for four weeks in March – April 2023 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The facilities are excellent starting with the large, first floor welcoming expanse with the reception on one side and a café on the other, with lounge seating. From here there is access to a waterfront garden to the rear of the hotel, and a children’s play area on the lower floor. There is ample parking to the front and rear and in the hotel’s garage.
Bedrooms cover floors 5 to 22. Our room was on the 18th floor with magnificent views over the city as far as the Western Hills on a clear day. The hotel has three fast and efficient lifts. Our room of 42 square metres was extremely well appointed with a very large comfortable bed, a working desk and swivel chair, a small occasional table and comfortable easy chair. There were many electric sockets and charging points. The air conditioning maintained a comfortable even temperature of 25 degrees. Opposite the bed was a range with a large TV, drawers and luggage stowage space, a fridge and tea /coffee making facilities – topped up daily. There was a full double wardrobe with integral safe. The bathroom was huge with a fantastic spa shower and lots of space. The bedroom was tastefully designed and was kept spotlessly clean. Towels and linen were changed daily or on demand.
Breakfast was taken on the second floor in the buffet / restaurant area. The breakfast was very good with bags of choice to suite international tastes. We experienced the weekend buffet lunch which was of a high standard and reasonably priced. There is also a table service restaurant.
On the fourth floor is the fitness centre with a very well equipped gym and swimming pool. We used the pool on several occasions and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is large (25m long) with an additional children’s pool. Changing facilities are excellent and included lockers, showers and a sauna.
The third floor was given over to business / function rooms.
The staff members at this hotel were very good at all levels: – polite, courteous and helpful. Some English was spoken. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
I cannot speak too highly of this hotel and we intend to use it regularly on our frequent stays in Beijing.

I have to say that this hotel is very cost-effective, clean, good front desk service, great location, and a lot of food around. I originally booked for one day and stayed for a few more days. Haha, the breakfast is not bad, nutritious With balance.

The room facilities are old, some light control sockets don’t work, there are no sockets at the head of the bed, or they are hidden behind the head of the bed (because some switches need to be moved away from the bed to press them). The single bed is very small and there is no difference in price. The room is not very warm. The hot water is not well controlled. The toilet seat is also misplaced. The flushing water is also very small. If you don’t press it all the time, it won’t flush. Fortunately, you can just sleep one night.
