The manager and staff is helpful and kind. They help us with our luggages to be brought up the quite steep stairs to their Inn. They will try to help us whatever we need.
Nearby halal eateries for the muslim.
Also walkable to attractions.

Here’s a refined version of your hotel review:
Great Location & Warm Hospitality
The hotel is in a great location, just around 300 meters from the ancient town center, making it easy to explore. The owner is very kind and helpful, offering a warm welcome with tea. Extra blankets were also provided for added comfort. Many good restaurants around. This is a wonderful stay with excellent hospitality!

Love staying at this hostel. The owner are so friendly and helpful. He was very eager to help us with our JDSM ticketing. He gave suggestion on activities around Lijiang. He even made us traditional tea during our stay there. The location is good with it being just by the main road but still part of the Ancient City. The rooms are spacious and clean. There’s water heater and heated blanket. I would stay here again if I ever come back to Lijiang

We had an amazing stay ! The place has a traditional design from the outside, but the rooms that we had was modern and sleek. Very big room size too. Very kind host to upgrade us for free to the highest floor so we could have rooms next to each other with amazing mountain views. We were also treated to free tea drinking and with free flower cakes for 5 of us, which we appreciated a lot..loved the custom. The host is super friendly and enthusiastic to explain about his area. Across is an inn where a Russian writer used to live and has turned into a museum and its free to go visit. So interesting. Our host also helped us book a driver to pick and send us to the railway station and also helped us book a day driver to Jade Dragon Snow Mt, Blue Moon Valley and tickets for the Impressions Lijiang Show, with a drive to Shuhe Ancient Town, at reasonable rates. We also ordered Taobao to the hotel and our host kindly called the courier company for us when they wrongly posted our packages to a wrong address. A minor point would probably be the short hike up stairs to the place, but overall , it added a sweet charm to the inn . Cars can stop though at the bottom and its a short walk, but be careful to walk slowly as it can make you breathless at the altitude.Overall, would like to come back and stay, such a gem !
