Very upmarket Hotel

This is an excellent hotel with very accommodating staff.
As long as your room doesn't face the street you will get a great night sleep - road noise is high in street side rooms and double glazing is required. They cater for both local Chinese and western meals quite well although it's a little bit uncoordinated with things like cold coffee, toaster that has half the elements faulty, but they are very willing to learn and make those sort of changes. All in all, a terrific location and place to base yourself.

Nothing special but not many other options

I have previously stayed at the Wenzhou hotel next door which in 2012 seemed to be the only hotel in town allowed to take foreigners. That was pretty poor so decided to try the Zhejiang on this trip but it's nothing special either and in some respects was worse. Unfortunately there are very few options in Hotan and you have to set your expectations pretty low. The location is at least handy, within walking distance of the bazaar and the Uyghur area of town, and right by Unity Square which is pleasant for sitting and people-watching on a warm summer evening. If you can speak Chinese the front desk staff are helpful enough and helped us arrange a driver to take us to Yarkand for a pretty reasonable price. Beds are rock-hard, as is almost invariably the case in Chinese hotels. Rooms are at least reasonably clean and there is plenty of hot water. Breakfast was awful even by provincial Chinese hotel standards, served in a tiny and dirty little room full of smokers - my advice would be don't bother, pick up some fruit and bread from the bazaar instead.

Location is good, rest is not, but there's not many alternatives

This hotel is in an excellent location, close to the central square and to a night market.
However, that's pretty much it. Lower your expectations in terms of rooms and cleanliness. We had to change room since the one they gave us was smelling bad. Also the new room was not that clean and generally run down, but at least not smelly.
Breakfast is in a pretty sad room, and of course 100% Chinese only (no tea!).
This however is more or less what you could expect from a four star around here. Could rate as 1 star elsewhere.

政府接待宾馆杠杠的，院子大，停车场大，早餐品种多秩序好，距离赫赫有名的和田夜市也不远，虽然设施旧了一点，还是很满意。

房间还算宽敞，设施有些陈旧，服务尚好，我们因为赶路，要求早餐早点开，前台小姐姐及时联络解决。谢谢！
