A wonderful stay

I spent three nights at Shangri-La Chengdu and had a great experience since the time of my check in. Nancy Lan (兰达琼), the duty manager, was very helpful and kind. During the stay, two of the cleaning ladies, Lucy Xu (徐云琳) and Feng Fanjun (冯凡骏), were super kind. They provided wonderful service and tried to clean my room even very late in the afternoon. The breakfast and lunch were outstanding. Although constantly filled with guests, the staff were patient and professional. Thank you Shangri-La Chengdu!

May Day Outing

An established luxury hotel with good facilities in every way, no obvious shortcoming and nothing particularly outstanding to offer for sentimental value. Breakfast is rich, but the coffee is very average.

Excellent experience with Shangri-La Hotel Services in Chengdu

Three departments, five employees, let us really understand "Shangri-La service"
During our stay at Shangri-La in Chengdu, we truly felt: luxury is not a cold and fancy facility, but care that is nuanced and heartfelt.
First, the guest room department: see the details in heart and warm as family
Special thanks to three employees, He Min, Li Huiying and Li Qiuman.
We had just checked in that day, and the room was piled with a lot of paper shells removed by courier, which Li Huiying's sister volunteered to help us clean up. Even more touchingly, she noticed that the bottled water in the room had been used by us for a few bottles before it was silently replenished in time for us to speak. This detail may seem small, but it best reflects one's professionalism - life in the eyes and guest in the heart.
He Min is also a very educated employee. She made several voluntary visits to the room to ask if we were comfortable and brought local citrus fruit. When she learned that we had a little granddaughter under 3 years old, she made a special gift for the baby. This intention makes children happy and adults warm.
Then there's the luxury loft lounge: an employee's literacy that sustains a sense of peace.
The children at the adjoining table were a little weeping during dinner at the luxury loft. We didn't really pay much attention, but the little sister of Lu Yueqing at the lounge came forward to gently coax the children several times on her own initiative. To our surprise, she came back and forth three times to apologize to us and said, "Sorry to bother you." We were really not bothered, but it was this earnestness and thoughtfulness of hers that moved us deeply. It must be a legacy of hotel culture and training that an employee can hold himself to such high standards.
And finally, the concierge: a final journey, equally successful.
As we checked out, Wang Guokun's younger brother in concierge not only helped us get our luggage from the room to the lobby, but also personally carried it one by one into a taxi until he was sure it was all well and good-bye with a smile. This initiative and thoughtfulness of "sending Buddha to the West" brings a perfect end to our trip to Chengdu.
The backbone of the brand, from every front-line employee
From guest room to lounge, from lounge to concierge, three departments and five employees interpreted the same phrase in different ways - "Shangri-La's service, trustworthy." They don't mean to please, they really take their guests to heart. We would like to recommend this hotel to everyone around us.

Amazing staff! Was really good at helping translate to my language! The door man helped me purchase a new suitcase delivered to the hotel, as mine broke on my journey here! Can not recommend the front door staff enough!!!
