Trail to the dock
Mrs. Paola checked us into the Puerta del Sur Hotel. He speaks English and gave us a map, directions to the gas station, the pedestrian street across the bridge (20 minutes walk), where the hotel restaurant is and helped us translate the Spanish words from the restaurant menu into English. The long wait for a room, from our arrival after 1:00 p.m. (your check-in time) until 4:12 p.m., when we were given one, told us that Mrs. Myra, Mrs. Paola's colleague, could offer us a complimentary dinner. Mrs. Katerine, from Botany, took our dinner orders in English. Its grilled tuna with stir-fried vegetables is fresh and tasty. My husband was delighted with his grilled chicken, chips and green salad. She also asked another colleague if we could have a packed breakfast when leaving for the airport, before hers began. We informed the reception staff and then spoke to the breakfast staff. There was reportedly no exchange of information between shifts. Both the front desk and breakfast staff were unaware of our packed breakfast request. The breakfast staff allowed us to bring a muffin each. They gave us apple juice, brownie, spoons and glasses. Breakfast offers a variety of options. Our room 505 is comfortable and is on the top floor! Its backyard extends to the water and has a short path to the pier that gives us the feeling of being in the middle of nature.

She also inquired with another colleague if we could have boxed breakfast when we left for the airport before their breakfast starts. We informed the Reception staff then spoke to the breakfast staff.

Hot tubs really good with dock access. Nice trail with kids activities. So good for staying with family.

Beautiful property. So lovely to be able to walk down to the water and sit on the dock. Peaceful and lots of birds and beautiful landscaping.
We loved the game room upstairs. Work out room was small with minimal equipment but we made it work. Breakfast was excellent

Very good
The hotel has an exempent view as it is inserted in Valdivia forest, plus it has a dock on the river with a direct access. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent (it has a limited menu but its dishes are premium). The gym is small but very good quality. The only problem you have is that the beds are very soft and can bring problems for people with back pain. Other than that I recommend it.

Very careful when checking in.
It happens that I arrive at the reception at 16:00 hours and they tell me that “the room is not ready” unusual seems to me, for any hotel let alone a hotel of this price.

This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. * Breakfast price for extra children or guests is charged separately. LOCAL TAX LAW Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%. This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid separately.
