Not perfect, but adequate accommodation and friendly personnel

There are not many choices is Huasco, but this place is quite reasonable. Do not expect a luxury hotel, but rooms and bath are OK. Internet is for all purposes useless, someone sold them an installation that is not even adequate for reading short mails. Breakfast is good and you are served by friendly personnel. Hot water did not work the first morning, so we got moved to a different (better) room. This experience is is based on our visit when the hotel was less than half full, not sure what would happen when fully booked.

Wifi

Please don't ever ask to get the wifi key since in Huasco unfortunately the internet is terrible... I prune it and they don't deliver it or they don't know it... does anyone remember it?... hahaha I don't think anyone.
. Only Miss Olivia's attention can be rescued.

Disappointing stay

My first impression of Solaris was that I had booked a room in a prison. You enter and must be buzzed in from an outside gate that surrounds the property, and the neighborhood looks pretty sketchy, with high metal gated fences around many places, but that may just be Huasco.
My second impression was that my room was NOT in the main hotel, though I don’t think this was clear in my reservation. I was in a building across the street, and you needed three keys to get in and out of the building.
My third impression was that the inside of the building is dark, and sterile like a crypt. The room was even darker, and the window looked at the wall of the house next door, where the neighbors played (poor quality) music most of the day but luckily stopped after 10 PM.
This place is quite depressing.
The breakfast was okay.

Very Nice place

The hotel is very good. The bed confortable and the room wide. The receptionist and the lady of the restaurant (breakfast) very attentive. Have a swimming pool but was disabled. The restaurant for lunch and dinner is very good, with a lot of options and good food.

Very Secure
Very nice restaurant
All around very pleasant stay beautiful scenery
Close to area shops and the ocean I would not hesitate to stay there in the near future
Internet was a little slow but oh well.
Spanish speaking is a must communication was a little rough but we had a member of our crew that helped a lot
