Good location, room was clean , bed is comfortable. Very good cleaning service: every morning they tried to clean my room though it was not necessary. What was a bit disturbing is a smell of cigaretes in the room

Room below standard but staff were excellent

I booked The Town Hotel because the room pictures looked nice and the price was on sale. Unfortunately the actual room was not impressive at all compared to the photos.
*Main issues:*
*No basic amenities*: No slippers, no toiletries provided, and only 1 towel for the whole stay
*Room equipment*: TV remote didn’t work properly and the aircon was also faulty. Also busted light and lampshade.
*Experience*: I decided to stay to relax but ended up more stressed, so I ended up checking out early
I understand the room was on sale, but a discounted price shouldn’t mean basic hotel standards are ignored. The room should still have essentials and working facilities.
*The positive:*
I do want to commend the staff. They were very accommodating, and the check-in process was quick and welcoming. That was the best part of my stay.
I hope management can address the room issues so future guests get an experience that matches the pictures and the good service from the team.

The staff was very friendly and pleasant, which made the initial check-in experience smooth and welcoming. Unfortunately, the room itself did not live up to expectations.
The shower had visible mold, which is a serious cleanliness concern and made using the bathroom uncomfortable. The room also lacked a mini freezer, which was disappointing and inconvenient for storing food or drinks. Additionally, the curtains had cigarette burns and the entire room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke—even though it was clearly labeled as a non-smoking room.
Overall, while the staff did their best to provide good service, the condition of the room significantly impacted the stay and needs urgent attention.

Room AC is not cooling properly, smoking smell in room, bathroom and there were no bathroom towels or hairdryer, rest everything is ok.
