Good accommodation

We really enjoyed our stay at Stanley Bridge Resort. The manager of the hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. We stayed in the main building of the hotel and really liked our king suite. They offered breakfast every morning.

Unsafe and unhealthy

Subfloor in the bathroom is rotten resulting in cracked tiles, to the point of no grout left! Black mould in and around the toilet. Can’t possibly have been cleaned this entire summer.
The dishes had mouse poop in them.
The deck is rotten and soft underfoot and the wooden chairs disintegrated when we sat down.
The canine have the potential to be cute but I don’t think a dime has been spent in 20 years to maintain or upgrade this place.

Steer clear! This is a scam to take your deposit as nobody actually stays here, it’s so bad!

We booked a week at this facility as we had been here 20 years ago. I swear nothing has been done to maintain the property since then
The person at check in will ask you to sign documents agreeing to pay the entire fee for your stay before you get to see where you’re staying. We did that, and upon seeing the cabin went back to say it was unacceptable and we demanded a full refund. They refused and insisted we had to pay at least one nights stay even though we were leaving because the place was filthy. We paid under duress just to get away from it, and feared if we didn’t they would charge us for the full week. I could tell this was a common occurrence as the manager had a very well rehearsed argument and would not let us leave without paying something. He agreed it was run down and even came to the cabin so I could show him the problem s, but he would not budge and said it was expensive to do upgrades and they were doing what they could afford. He said they were fully booked but there was nobody at any of the cabins at 500pm. The pool was also dirty and run down. Find somewhere else and avoid this place!

Staff is oustanding. We were sad to find out the jacuzzi was closed due to weather as it was cold, rainy and windy and we wanted to warm up.
Our bed was excellent and spacious room.

The welcome sign at the entrance was in French. I didn't know where the front door was. No coffee or filters in my room. Not enough soap or shampoo. Didn't know that check in was at 4pm. Didn't know that they offer a breakfast, the breakfast was good.
The pool is a 5 min walk and needs renovations.
