Nice and cozy

A beautiful accommodation in a stunning setting. The host was nice and helpful. Great breakfast and a cozy rooms. We stayed (unfortunately) only for one night but if you are in the region it’s a place to be recommended. The village Saint Rose is also nice so it’s a nice stopover at the Sangenuy Fjord.

A Pearl in the Pearl of the Fjord

Saint Rose du Nord is rightly named "the Pearl of the Fjord". This B&B, a well-kept ancestral home, was for us a pearl in that Pearl. First, the location is great: only an hour-drive from/to Tadoussac and at proximity to the Sainte-Marguerite entry point to the Saguenay Fjords National Park (Beluga Observatory). The gite is also steps away from the magnificent Fjord for a nice walk and/or from the Wharf (Le Quai) for an unforgettable Fjord Cruise - possible under COVID only aboard La Marjolaine.
Second, the ambiance is pleasant: the air is particularly pure, rooms are clean, spacious and decorated with taste. Johanne is a natural hostess, warm and present. She gave us local tips on places to visit. Breakfast was delicious and versatile (the eggs for the omelette from the nearby family-owned farm). I highly recommend this place.
Note: access to rooms may be problematic with mobility issues.

Really Genuine & so Nice

We've loved this place !
Sainte Rose is a must see when going to the Sagenay Fjord.
This B&B is so genuine with a lot of souvenir from his early XX century family history
Joanne is a great host and her Breakfast is great, with a view on the Fjord.

Lovely B&B with wonderfull views

Lovely B&B with wonderfull views across to the fjord. Surrounded by a vegetable garden within this lovely village. Rooms are amazing - old fashioned deco. You'll feel as though your staying in a room from the past but in a wonderfully nostalgic way. Hearty breakfast and a lovely sitting room for guests. Kind hosts.

Dépaysant et charmant

Maison totalement typique du coin, très charmante !
Un accueil sympathique, on est vite mis à l’aise par l’hôte. Il y a la possibilité de stationner gratuitement devant la maison.
La chambre mise à disposition est très ancienne, ce qui concorde bien avec l’ambiance de l’établissement. La douche est toutefois très moderne.
Le petit déjeuner est mis à disposition par l’hôte.
Le village est toutefois très petit et est plus adapté à un passage rapide. Toutefois c’est très dépaysant et assez plaisant.
