It's old, it's creaky but it has character. The staff was amazing, we had a beautiful room that was quiet and out of the way. Stayed there 3 nights and those were the best sleep I can ever remember having.

The room was nice and clean, we had room #10. The washroom is huge.Air conditioner in room as well. Barbara was friendly and welcoming. Location is great. There is a mini fridge in room, but we can use coffee machine and microwave in the reception. The room is small though. I think the price is high because of location, a few steps from the chateau, 300 m from Tim Hortons and all around are restaurants. Parking place is very convenient located front of the property just across the street.

We had room 37 which has two beds and is on the 3rd floor. If I go back, I would take room 21

Good for a night or two. To be there longer, I would appreciate a larger room with a refrigerator.
Very inexpensive for the location and well situated. The city hall parking lot is a 5-minute walk away.
The room was very clean and we had a very large bathroom with a large shower.
No fridge in the room, even though there was supposed to be one.
The air conditioner is efficient and quiet. I really enjoyed it.
Our requests were met. There were no sheets for the futon (by the way, it is very comfortable). Also, just 2 towels. We asked for 2 more as well as additional washcloths. They were brought to us in less than 10 minutes.
Aside from the stairs leading to the 3rd floor (there are actually 4 floors), everything was correct.
A $25 security deposit is required, refundable at the end of the stay. That is also correct.

Great location, nice people, clean. Walls a bit thin. Shared bathroom worked out well. Big windows.

If you want a bed to sleep in and then tour Quebec it'll do. If you are going as a couple, this place does not exude romance. It is functional. Birds were burrowing into a wall of the building I could see from my window. The front desk worker was very kind.
