Clean, quiet, cozy and warm.

Clean, quiet, cozy and warm. Very basic and quaint. Stayed one night. Excellent dinner with local seafood. Hot breakfast was included. Fresh hostess baked croissant with breakfast! I would choose to stay here again instead of anyplace in Tadoussac.

Avoid

The only restaurant near the whales, a very mediocre mini seafood soup, and salmon bagels (they were out, so it was a baguette!) that were not very filling for the price and nothing extraordinary... in the end, we didn't have dessert and the bill was too expensive for what it was worth.

Atypical and unforgettable!

"Sam" is not the owner, it's simply Samuel de Champlain :-) No, no, we're at Sonia's! It feels like a movie... in a motel lost in the great American spaces.... Sonia took over this old presbytery years ago and turned it into an adorable inn, with her very own "rococo" decor , the 4 bedrooms upstairs are basic, but it's so warm!!! She and her team take great care, the food is very good, everything is fresh and homemade on site. Sonia is very endearing, we share a moment of life with her, we even met her mother who came to visit her. Thank you Sonya!

Good food, Quick Service, Efficient server.

Quality Food with Great service
We went to Cafe Sam as we had just 30 minutes to have a quick bite before we went on the Whale watching Cruze.
The server was really very good and assured us of quick service. She took our order and told is what would be quick. The food came in ten minutes and we enjoyed the food including the fresh warm bread.
All items we ordered were very good and we were able to leave in time for our boat Cruze.

What a great spot!

Had a couple of meals here and was blown away by the amazing food and lovely staff. Took such good care of us and made us feel like family. Cute rooms and such a relaxing setting by the river. Thanks for the warmth and hospitality.
