We turned into the first entrance to the Richter Pass resort heading east from Osoyoos and wondered if we'd made a terrible mistake. The dumpsters and junk gave a poor first impression. But once we settled in we quickly came to appreciate the place. The accommodations are basic but for the price, but the beach is great and, especially when compared to neighbouring properties, it is excellent value. One of the best things about our stay here is how friendly all the other guests were, especially around the shared barbecues and outside tables by the lake. There were folks here who clearly have been visiting regularly for many years (I heard one lady say almost 50 years) and I can see why. It's down-to-earth, old-school and unpretentious in the best possible way.
I just wish they could dim the lights on the balconies overnight!

Affordable and nice place to stay when in Osoyoos. Right on the water, with its own private section of the beach. Bedroom, kitchen and bathroom were decent, if just a bit long utilized. Everything was well used, but it all worked and the air cond worked its best to keep us cool. Good value for money, for Summer in Osoyoos.

The condo room we had was a little tired, but very clean. Our A/C was not working properly and was swapped out with a new unit within hours…thx Huey!
The beach is beautiful and parking is better than many other hotels on the strip. Have stayed here in multiple occasions and will be back

Perfect getaway for families

I brought my daughter and grandson for a little getaway to enjoy the beach and relax. The one bedroom condo was perfect for our needs and had an amazing view of Osoyoos Lake. The kitchen was well equipped and the full size fridge came in handy with a toddler! The pull out was the first comfortable one we have experienced so everyone slept well. The property keeps the beach in pristine condition and it was a treat in the very warm weather. The staff are amazing and obviously care about the place - our condo was spotless and they were ready to help if we needed anything. Highly recommend.
