We will be back

What an amazing time we had. We stayed in Juniper - easy access to everything including a gorgeous river that we swam in. Caroline is an amazing hostess. The tent comes equipped with everything you need- except salt and pepper. We will be back.

An amazing [place that I fully recommend to all!

I love to camp but my partner was not experienced in it. This was an incredible way to ease in to it! The tent was well made and spacious, with all the basic amenities you need for cooking and comfort (towels, robes, cookware, glasses, etc.). The site was nicely secluded but within short walking distance to the facilities which were well maintained. We got firewood prepared and there was plenty for a good night or two. Check in was hassle free as was check out, and being in the middle of several wineries and breweries was a huge bonus as well! With all transparency, the only thing I would complain about is that the water has a strong sulfur content so the odor can be strong when you are using running water. But at no other time was it an issue, and I stress that it was the ONLY thing wrong. I 100% recommend both to experienced campers looking to take it easy while still enjoying the basic experience, and for those looking to dip their toes in the camping waters! We will be back!

A hidden gem in Southern Ontario, an escape into nature with the amenities that make it glamorous.

My Husband and I used to camp in a tent a lot, now as a family of five with three young children the idea of roughing it with no running water has lost it's appeal. This little hideaway offered the fun and excitement of being outdoors in nature, cooking meals over a campfire and enjoying the relaxation of a little river. Then at night, we put out very tired kids to bed in a pop up tent just outside of our tent entrance, and we sat by the fire, enjoying the sounds of silence. We had a lovely sleep with lots of fresh air, but on such a comfy bed. It was way better than sleeping on the ground. I was most excited about the hot shower in the morning, there is certainly something to be said for flushing toilets and hot running water while enjoying the outdoors. Our tent was close enough to the bathrooms for a late night kid run, but not so close to be bothered by other guests using the facility. It was also very close to the river, just a walk down the path to the water, beautiful! The hosts were lovely and very accommodating. I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for relaxation and rejuvination in nature. People of all ages would enjoy it, and there is so much space, not likely to run into your neighbours.
