A wonderful stay at a perfect location
Nestled on a residential street, you really felt at home in the well maintained B&B. The rooms are simply furnished and show off the brick walls and beautiful old hardwood floors. The bed was extremely comfortable and there is excellent WiFi available. A small refrigerator was in the room so you could keep some snacks or drinks. Check-in and check-out were simple and a home cooked breakfast is offered for a minimal per day, per person charge. Breakfast is served in the dining room, and there is a small sitting room with a television available for guests. We had beautiful weather during our stay, and it was nice to open a window for fresh air. This B&B does have a steep staircase when you enter to go up to the second floor where the rooms are.
The location is perfect - it is within walking distance of many must see things to do and the Berri-UQAM Metro station is at the top of the street. It is close to Rue St. Denis, which has a large selection of restaurants and the Theatre St-Denis. Street parking is very tight, but host Natalie provided nearby parking garage option before our visit.
This was our first experience staying at a bed & breakfast and it was wonderful. We truly enjoyed this option over a hotel.

Perfect location in Montreal
This is a wonderful inn to stay at in Montreal. The hosts are lovely, and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The homemade breakfast is delicious. It is the perfect location for exploring the city and walking to restaurants. This is our second stay and we will look forward to next time.

COMPLETELY FRAUDULENT BUSINESS - STAY AWAY
***This place was a complete fraud. STAY FAR AWAY.***
I booked a room on their website a little less than a week before my trip to Montreal for the solar eclipse. I received two confirmation emails confirming my booking and requesting that I provide my arrival date and time which I did.
In the following days, I sent several emails and left a voicemail requesting arrival details and asking a few questions about the facilities.
No one responded to any of my messages.
On the drive up to Montreal, I tried calling upwards of two dozen times but the phone would go directly to a fast busy signal. At this point, I was getting quite worried that something was amiss and, sure enough, when I arrived at the property it was completely locked up and appeared to be shut down.
While standing outside the property, I checked my credit card and was shocked to see that there was an 800USD charge pending on my account.
I was fortunate enough to have the means to book a different hotel at the last minute (which, frankly, was incredible given the number of people coming into town for the eclipse) but I can't imagine how stressful this would have been for a traveler or family on a more limited budget.
I gave the owners the completely undeserved courtesy of waiting a week before posting any reviews in the off-chance that they would reach out and explain what happened.
They have not.
There is absolutely no excuse for this. I will be reporting the property to the proper regulatory bodies and authorities advising of this fraudulent activity and highly recommend that any one looking for a place in Montreal steer far clear of this place.

A gem—location, comfort and hospitality. And they put the Breakfast in B and B!
I cannot say enough good things about this place. Natalie’s breakfast was absolutely exquisite. One does not expect when you see continental breakfast, to have different flavored bread, pudding‘s, delightful, fruit, and yogurt, parfaits, and a different homemade jam every morning. It was exciting to just find out the type of jam and bread pudding we were getting. Robert carried our luggage down without having to ask. Their hospitality was astounding.
Beyond that, the beds were comfortable, and the location was absolutely perfect. A safe neighborhood and walkable distance to so many wonderful restaurants. This is truly a gem.

A homey space in the middle of everything. A warm welcome to Montreal.
As everyone else mentions, Natalie and Robert are wonderful friendly and helpful hosts. They make the breakfast and the whole experience a nice opportunity to meet your fellow travelers, or have privacy, whichever you prefer. The common area is also comfortable for reading and lounging. Clean, attractive, perfectly located for wandering around the Place des Arts and the Place des Spectacles and UQAM. Very very close to the subway, too. Our bed was firm but not hard, the covers were warm and new. With the black out shutters, too, and a room that overlooked the gardens in the back, I slept extra every day. Very highly recommended.
