Very nice B&B
Stayed 3 nights in a lovely spacious well appointed room with an ensuite bathroom. As Stirling house is located right by the hospital it was absolutely perfect as I was visiting a family member under going treatment. Would definitely stay again

Excellent B&B in Kelowna
Eron and Mario are excellent hosts. They provide a home for your stay, a great health conscious breakfast with Canadian products. They're available when you need something and out of your wY so you have space. Keep in mind, this is a B&B and has a shared bathroom for many of the suites. And parking is tight, especially if you have a large truck. Its our second time staying with them and we'll return again.

Thank you for your review John, we are happy to hear you enjoyed both your trips to our Bed & Breakfast. To clarify, two guestrooms have private ensuites and two share a bathroom, this is indicated across all booking platforms for our guests to see when booking their room. Understandably not all guests want to stay in a room with a shared bathroom, this is where we recommend you choose a room with a private ensuite. Our Parking lot is meant for cars, when a guest arrives with a truck or oversized vehicle, we accommodate their needs with a parking permit for the side street.

Not impressed
Stirling House is a beautiful building with historic features. It has lovely decor and furnishings. It is in a very convenient position, very close to the lake beach and an easy walk to downtown Kelowna. Our host gave us useful local information which we were grateful for.
However our overall experience was disappointing. Our bed was very noisy, if one of us turned over the whole frame creaked and shook (we are not large people ) which made for a disturbed night’s sleep. We were looking forward to breakfast after reading previous reviews but ours was poor - the eggs were over cooked, the half satsuma was dry and inedible, there was nothing extra like breakfast potatoes just some fruit (warm, not from the fridge) and a couple of small uncooked tomatoes. That was it apart from a couple of small pieces of toast. No napkins or teaspoons were provided. Overall we would not recommend this place.

Our beds feature restored wooden and metal frames in keeping with the heritage character of our 1910 home. While these classic frames can occasionally creak, they are well maintained and rarely impact our guests’ comfort or sleep. We regularly inspect all rooms to ensure a restful stay.
We also take great pride in our breakfast service, which is consistently noted in reviews for being hearty, fresh, and beautifully presented. As a vegetarian guest, we did our best to accommodate your dietary preferences with a lighter, customized plate—prepared fresh that morning. Tables are always fully set with cutlery, napkins, and coffee or tea service, and we strive to offer a warm and attentive dining experience for all guests.
Had any concern been mentioned during your stay, we would have immediately addressed it—as guest satisfaction is always our top priority. We take great pride in the quality and care we provide, and we stand by the consistently high standards that our many returning guests recognize and appreciate.

Nice heritage house and scrumptious breakfast
Beautiful old house in the heritage area of Kelowna. Very good breakfast served by friendly hosts. We missed at reservation that not all rooms have a private bathroom . Room came with snack basket and some water. Don't walk the main road to town, much nicerof you follow Abbot street.

Recently had the pleasure of staying at the STIRLING HOUSE Bed and Breakfast in lovely Kelowna BC on a business trip blended with pleasure. From the moment I stepped through the door, I felt like I was enveloped in a warm hug of hospitality. Plus, my room featured flat-screen TV, a generous-sized desk for working, free wifi, complimentary bottled water, and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast served in the dining room. Wow
1. Charming Ambiance: The home itself is a gem—a beautifully preserved piece of history from the 1900s? The original details, from the intricate woodwork to the windows, and décor add to its timeless charm. It’s spacious, comfortable, and fully-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home.
2. Attentive Hosts: The owners Eron and Mario are delightful. They’re dedicated to preserving the B&B’s unique character while ensuring us guests have a memorable experience. Eron and Mario’s warmth and friendliness made my stay even more special.
3. THE Guest Room blends modern amenities with a nod to the home's heritage. Stayed in the “Clairgeau Room”. It featured a king-sized bed, private ensuite, beautiful decor, a handsome work desk, a lounge, and complimentary WiFi. The room was very spacious, and relaxing.
4. Charming Location: It is conveniently positioned near several attractions. Take a leisurely wander in the Heritage district Abbott Street, and just a short stroll from downtown with boutique shops, also located next to Kelowna General Hospital and the BC Cancer Agency, and a stone's throw from several beaches.
5. Culinary Delights: While breakfast at the Stirling House is a highlight, venture out to nearby restaurants. Pandosy Village has some lively unique restaurants and remember Kelowna offers joy for wine enthusiasts.
