A Gem of a hotel!

My girlfriends and I stayed at Rosemead House on a quick vacation to Victoria and Nainamo. What a wonderful hotel!!! Beautiful interior with a mix of vintage and modern touches. The bathroom was a big hit with the Japanese toilet, heated floors and large tub. Coffee service in the morning was such a nice touch. Nice staff and comfy beds will make this our go to hotel in Victoria.

Although our stay at the Rosemead House was pleasant and our room was comfortable, we left disappointed overall.
The grounds are currently under construction, with construction debris throughout the property and loud work beginning around 7:00 a.m. each morning. The spa was also undergoing renovations during our stay.
None of this was disclosed when we made our reservation, nor was it mentioned on the website. Had we known the property was undergoing significant renovations, we would have appreciated the opportunity to make an informed decision before booking.
We understand that improvements are sometimes necessary, but guests should be notified in advance when construction is likely to affect their stay.

Outstanding

We cannot recommend the Rosemead House Hotel enough. It combines historic charm with modern luxury. The front desk service and staff provided world class hospitality always anticipating our needs. Our suite was very clean, quiet with exquisite furnishing. The on-site dining at Janevca was a highlight, every meal was an experience especially the hand made past bolognese. The breakfast featured fresh local ingredients. Absolutely delicious. A truly luxurious getaway! A perfect 5-star experience. Paulette & Michel - Sidney BC

Lovely hotel about 10 min from DT Victoria. Hotel itself was well maintained, charming, updated with electric vehicle chargers, and honestly a 5 star oasis.

Gorgeous property in a residential neighborhood in Esquimalt. Beautiful rooms, spa, restaurant and bar. Great food and I had the best massage and facial at the spa. Outstanding. Timothy in the restaurant is a truly outstanding server. We will return!
