Location of the hotel, convenience to Drumheller attractions, inclusion of breakfast and the helpfulness of the staff - these were all positives.
However, the hotel is a bit dated and could use some updating.

This stay was disappointing. I realize it’s not a high end hotel, but when they gouge for $400 on a busy night, expectations are a bit higher. The receptionist at check in was extremely friendly, helpful and efficient, but it went downhill from there. Ice machines out of order, elevator buttons were gross, many things in hotel were rundown and clearly needed repair/replacement.

A clean, well kept hotel. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Typical for hotels that include breakfast. I would stay here again.

Cancelled reservation on day of trip with no prior notice

Booked a standard room in late June for one night stay in mid July through the hotel's website and received a confirmation for the booking right away. Received another confirmation email and reminder a couple days before our trip. However on the day of the trip, I received a call right in the morning advising that my card has been declined twice and they have to cancel my reservation. The lady over the phone told me they tried to charge my card on the day of booking but she said it declined. She stated they gave me a call but I did not receive any calls from them before the day of our trip. I checked my credit cards and called my bank but there were no issues there, and the other hotels that I booked were fine. I asked if I could pay at the hotel but the lady said no and they would have to cancel my reservation and I would have to rebook at the new rate, which would have almost been double. Ended up staying in a different place instead.

This hotel was quiet and clean. It is an older hotel so we couldn’t really hear people. Breakfast was great.
