Located in Westport, Brier Island Lodge is near the beach. Peter Island Lighthouse and Boar's Head Lighthouse are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Tiddville Nature Reserve and Mavillette Beach Provincial Park. While you're here, you can enjoy all the comforts of home and more, including free WiFi and a coffee/tea maker, as well as a garden and daily housekeeping. Other amenities include a refrigerator, towels, a picnic area, and a desk. The property is closed between November 1 and May 1.

Friendly and helpful staff. Food is delicious at the attached restaurant with some ingredients locally sourced. Bathroom was a bit dated and shower would go from cold to warm to cold water (which we would have asked the front desk about but we only stayed 1 night). View is amazing and island is very walkable from lodge. We would definitely stay there again as it was quiet and peaceful.

The room was clean, the staff we friendly and helpful. The views were spectacular. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and made with care. Overall it was a great stay and would recommend this place as a stop on your trip.

Was a great place to stay! Comfy beds, the owner had lots of island history! Longtime resident of the island! All staff are very welcoming! Not to mention the view is great!

Perfect place to get away from it all

In the dozen or so years that we have stayed at the Brier Island Lodge, we have seen tremendous improvements in the property. Most recently, all the doors, cedar shingles and upper floor/stairway railings have been replaced on the third building, making for a more polished exterior.
All else remains as we have known it over the years: A clean, comfortable room with a wonderful view of the Grand Passage. The appropriately named Grand View Dining Room continues to serve delicious meals. The hiking trail out to Gooseberry Cove provides wonderful birding experiences, connecting with Seal Cove, which provides (as the name suggests) wonderful opportunities to see the seals.
And, of course, the whale watching experiences in the Bay of Fundy are second to none. Brier Island is one of our favorite getaways. We'll keep coming back!
