Very comfortable and upscale apartment to call home while in Calgary. It is a quiet part of town, with easy access to the transcanada hwy.

We never had any contacts with the staff which was fine but I messaged a couple times and those went unanswered. Accommodations were satisfactory, common areas were very nice and view was great but we felt the property could’ve used a little better maintenance

Nice private room with bathroom and a large communal area with every thing you might need including pool table, outside garden area is lovely, but weather was not great for us so didn't use as much as we would have liked. Situated in a quiet residential area with plenty of parking. Everything was perfect for our stay.

WOMEN TRAVELLERS BEWARE

For context- I'm a single woman traveler. My first problem was on the day I was to arrive, I had yet to receive instructions for parking and gaining access until 5 hours before my arrival. I had to contact TripAdvisor directly, because the rental company (or owner) did not provide any contact details in the reservation.
I arrived from a long day of travel at 12:30am, only to find the door unlocked and 2 men sitting on the couch in the 'living room' with a strong odor of cannabis. I was confused, because the listing did not mention shared spaces. I stood at the door and asked where the 'Country Garden' room was and they pointed to narrow hallway with several doors with keypad locks on them.
As I stood there, 2 girls exited their room with their luggage and as they passed me, asked if I was thinking of staying there, to which I answered, 'yes'. They pulled me outside to enlighten me of their experience, which included those men harassing them, knocking on their door and trying to open their room door. They were so scared, they were leaving.
I knew the circumstances where sketchy, but this was all I needed to hear. I next immediately and I promptly called TripAdvisor. They said they would try to get a refund for me, but at 1am I was left to my own devices and had to locate a back up accommodation in a city I didn't know. Needless to say, the reservation is non-refundable and no refund was provided. I'm working on getting this property removed from TripAdvisor, the whole listing is inaccurate- DEFINITELY NOT A BnB.
So ladies, I wouldn't recommend you staying here.

First there are more rooms than parking spots so someone will need to park on the streets. I reached out to the hose about street parking rules but the host never replied back. The place needs alot of maintenance. The floor was broken in the bathroom, and I stubbed my toes. The tiles were also cracked. The room was also extremely cold. There were space heater in the room but it was really noisy and did not work well. Lastly, the host needs to significantly improve their communication. The entire street that the hotel was on was closed due to the Calgary marathon the next day. I only found out at 6 in the morning because I went out to my car and saw people blocking the street for the marathon. I had to rush and pack up my things in the early dawn to get out of the street before it was completely closed off. I was lucky and was able to make it out but I would imagine some guests were stuck in the hotel for hours because the police officer told me that cars were off limits once the marathoners were nearby. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would strongly suggest that anyone planning to reserve this place rethink their decision.
