Well they ripped us off. We booked the lake view room but since the hotel is a running down hotel so they stopped those room so ended up stayed at a no view room.

The place is very quiet and has a relaxed feel to it. Quite rustic. The staff did not speak any english so check in was tricky. After we got settled in the room we did meet the owner who did speak english and he made us feel very welcomed.

Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing!

- Rooms are very nice and quiet. They were clean, the air con worked well, there was a big fridge, hot shower, lots of space and a good fan.
- Price is great as most places in Kampot are more expensive for more basic
- Friendly staff
- No WIFI in the room so we used data which wasn't an issue
- Beautiful location and very peaceful

Dishonest Rip-off

I paid $179 dollars for 2 nights at the "residence" room due to the river views adversed prominently under the picture in the Agoda description - I showed them screenshots of this, and showed that if I put in any other dates it said the same. I has no option but to stay one night as I had arrived at 23:00 and spent an hour arguing with them about this. They refused to refund me the night, making me pay full rate for a room that was dishonestly advertised. The place itself looks poor anyway, and these are much nicer places for half the price locally. Honest places.
