Lack of respect for the customer
I had a confirmed booking for January 3, 2026, as I was traveling from another state and would spend the night staying in this hotel. In the afternoon of the same day, I received a message from the unit requesting confirmation of check-in, which I responded promptly, confirming my stay and informing the approximate time of arrival.
To my surprise and indignation, when I arrived at the hotel at night, I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled, on the grounds of lack of bedding (linen, brushes and towels).
In view of this, I asked:
the reason for cancellation after express confirmation of check-in;
And, mostly, because I was not warned in advance, since there was active contact from the hotel with me hours before.
I emphasize that I was accompanied by my daughter, a child, at nighttime, in another city/state, and was placed in an extremely embarrassing, insecure and exhausting situation, having to leave at night to look for another accommodation, without any effective support from the hotel.
The lack of internal organization of the hotel cannot be transferred to the client, let alone result in the unilateral cancellation of a confirmed reservation without prior notice, putting guests, especially with children, in a vulnerable situation.
I have been a guest of the Accor network for many years, I frequently use the hotels of the network precisely for the reliability and standard of service, and I have never been through such a serious and disrespectful situation. Such a situation is unacceptable.
