The location of the hotel, nice mt

Very good hotel. What a nice location, it's between the lagoon and the sea.
Cafe of the manha turned to Lagoa the q from one more pleasure.
Gentle and polite staff. Especially Jefferson at breakfast.
Beach of sin, nice place, quiet, beautiful.

Quiet and clean place but far from night fun

Probably the relation price to quality is quite good being an oil city. Rooms are big but they do not take too much advantage of that, and wood furniture makes it very obscure. The Pecado beach is less than 2 blocks, nice to swim if you like rough sea. The Cavaleiros beach, better one, is 2.5 Km, then maybe a hotel closer to it, and to all sort of restaurants and night atractions beside it promenade, would be a better election for same price.

Thank you for your feedback. It is appreciated as a basis for improvement. We are in the process of some room refurbishments; an ongoing process.
At this time of the year (early January), it is very quiet in Macae as many corporate customers reduce travel for holiday period. Unfortunately, the hotel cannot control the weather and waves; sometimes the Pecado beach is calm, sometimes the onshore winds are similar to Imbetiba port or Cavaleiros beach. The Hotel Du Lac sits back from the beach 100 meters, and with a view of the lagoon Imboassica, it provides an alternative with less discomfort. We have swimming pool(s) for our guests and a sundeck with pool on the roof of the hotel overlooking Macae beaches and lagoon.
We hope you will stay with us again, and to show you more of the Hotel amenities (games area, pub bar, etc), services, and night fun at or close to the hotel.

It's a nice place to stay while I am based in Macaé. It has really nice food, for all meals. The staff are very friendly, with mixed levels of English being spoken. There is also a great shuttle service to and from work, which has made my daily commute easy and stress free.
