How to visit aHospedar in Casa de Geleia is like being in the house of old friends, in case, Lia and Zé Carlos!

The guesthouse has excellent location and cost benefit! The rooms are huge and has everything for a wonderful stay. The breakfast is always delicious, with local delicacies, and with special attention from Lia and Zé Carlos that make you feel at home, whether by the food prepared with all love or the delicious prose! Not to mention the noise of the water and the birds that are daily present in the guesthouse. How to stay in a place of old friends!

A very special accommodation that we will never forget.

The second time we spent 20 days in Chapada Diamantina and stayed in the Pousada Casa Da Geleia. It is difficult to find words to describe the well being, the joy and the pleasure that one has in this guesthouse. The owners, Mrs. Lia and her Zé Carlos are the most special people we meet on the journey in our lives, they are like family, loving, warm, talk to us, give us all attention, sit with us at breakfast, exchange experiences, and leave a lot of missing. While Mrs. Lia prepares a delicious breakfast made exclusively by her, all fresh, made with love and affection her Zé tells her stories and is all so familiar and pleasant that it becomes our best memory after the return of the trip. We remember who made us feel emotions, the environment that welcomed us with respect and care. I can't help but mention the little soaps Senador that are put in the rooms every day, they brought me my childhood back; I did the 4 days of Pati Valley with them inside the backpack feeling the scent of the bathroom of my grandmother's house. These things have no price, things that make us FEEL. Disbalanced and eternally dissatisfied people have written nasty and stupid things about the hygiene of the guest house and about breakfast; for I say that everyone gives what he has inside him, who has no love or has never received will never understand the exchanges we had in our favorite guest house of Chapada Diamantina, these people see the world with their empty gaze and definitely do not deserve credit. I leave here my report so that injustice is avoided and so that more people can be as intensely happy as me and my husband were and so that our deep gratitude to Lençois' dearest couple for having added so much value to our accommodation is recorded. We will never forget your smile, these smiles have warmed our souls throughout our stay. May God bless the lives of both of you.

Great stay!

Our stay at the hostel was very welcoming, with a wonderful breakfast, clean room, warm shower and excellent location where it was possible to walk to the bus station and to the historic center. Mr. Zé Carlos and Mrs Lia are extremely friendly and attentive. Mr. Zé Carlos has many life and Chapada stories to tell. Its garden is lush, which makes for a good botanical walk! Great place to relax and photograph! I recommend!

Jelly House.
I stayed there for several days and absolutely loved it!
Delightful place, nice little house with even nicer people. Mr. José Carlos, who takes care of his orchids and feeds the birds that arrive in the morning, tells us his stories and travels, explains the place and keeps us company at breakfast! Dona Lia takes care of everything with care and is in charge of our breakfast, prepared in a meticulous way, with lots of abundance and flavor. Delight!! Iara takes care of the administration and gives us good tips. In the house, simplicity and comfort! Unmissable! I loved! Thank you, Casa da Geleia!

A place called Peace

Casa da Geleia is a very family-friendly guesthouse, a super welcoming place, with everything you need to rest after a day full of emotions.
They have a very affectionate way with their guests.
The breakfast is super special and as is already in the inn's name, the homemade jams are delicious.
I highly recommend it.
