Super Lovely Place
Extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Great location directly on the beach. You can kitesurf in front of the pousada. Daily shuttle to the kite lagoon. Only 6 rooms. Very good restaurant on the ground. Definite recommendation.

I do not recommend
The guesthouse does not have air conditioning in the rooms, but is ventilated. The problem is that you have to leave the venetian doors open to the circle air, losing privacy. The bathroom water is dirty, dark and very badly smelly (probably coming from a small pond inside the property). The day I stayed there was no water in the bathroom, and only the hot water from the shower was left. I was filling the private with a bucket so I could discharge. I didn’t have the courage to use that dirty shower water to wash my face or brush my teeth, which made me buy a bottle of water at a nearby grocery store. The bathroom has no ceiling, being separated from the room only by a wall. I do not recommend staying in this place! Plus, I found it very expensive for what it offers.

Service and communication at its lowest
I am highly disappointed about this pousada and their lack of professionalism and communication. I have been traveling for years in multiple places and countries and rarely experienced that.
Story short, we had to cancel our stay on short notice because of an accident that happened during our stay. Following this accident, we needed to fly back to our country rapidely. The problem is that their strategy to help us was simply to avoid responding to our numerous whats app messages and emails. We kindly asked for a compromise regarding the fees they charged before our stay but did not even take the time to respond.
As a traveller, I do not see this as a good signal when choosing a place to stay.
Also, if you think kitesurfing in front of the pousada, forget about it because it is full of rocks. According to other people we met during our trip in Brazil, you can kite there at high tide but it is not safe at all.
There are other great pousadas in Taiba and I am definitely not recommending this one. Know that in case of any trouble, they will likely ignore you.

Super séjour à TAIBA
Endroit merveilleux dans un village de pêcheurs protégé du tourisme. Un spot de KYTE reconnu. Les repas sont excellents, bien cuisinés. Jean-Luc et Nadia sont supers. Venus par hasard grâce à Loic et Karine, nous avons découvert avec plaisir ce petit coin du Brésil sous un soleil assuré. Nous recommandons vivement.

90 min pour être servi alors que seulement 2 autres tables
Vin roses pas bon
Viande sentant le e cramés
Poisson sans intérêt
Et aucun gestes malgré nos remarques cordiales et bienveillantes …. Alors qu’on est une table de 10 !
Le personnel est très gentil et le lieu sympa mais l’expérience n’est pas bonne
Dommage
Et le coup de fil pour réclamer une bouteille non payée ce matin !!!
