It is a bit far from Porto Alegre, close to train (1.70 and 4.00 reales on sunday). Close to a great place to eat "Jardin del Lago", Great staff and always willing to help. The mentioned restaurant also delivers pizza super delicious and fast delivery. Breakfast ok, needs more variety. Good taxi service. Can walk from station but I would recommend a taxi at night just because you have to cross an overpass bridge to get to the other side where the hotel is. For backpackers this place is fine but not for couples. The sheets are old...

Great little hotel, simple and clean!

Our group of 23 stayed in this hotel on a recent mission trip. The room I stayed in had two twin (well smaller than twin) beds, a very nice bathroom with shower. There is a window unit which worked great. They have a breakfast every morning...eggs, hotdogs, breads, juices and coffee...I'm guessing the hot dogs are a Brazil thing as they serve them in every form. The hotel has hair dryers all you have to do is ask for one. Very safe, we walked to a shopping area and felt very safe. We left our ipads, phones, etc...never anything bothered. Very pleased with this hotel. We did not utilize the parking. It is on a major highway of sorts so there is a lot of noise from the traffic but the air conditioner covered it nicely:) The staff was excellent. We did not speak Portuguese and yet that were so kind and helpful!
