Excellent breakfast

All good, excellent sea view, excellent breakfast, many attentive staff, very good parking, view to the sea excellent hotel location, they lend towels for us to go to the beach very clean hotel.

I highly recommend it, I would return with repellent without any problems.

The hotel is very good, 100% reception and helpfulness of staff, the employee responsible for snacks is incredible in her service, very good and quiet rooms, all hotel items working perfectly, parking with 24-hour guard. The only negative point was too many mosquitoes, it makes it difficult to even have breakfast because there are so many.

Extremely Well Located for Divers

This is a extremely well located hotel if you are there to dive. Nice and honest breakfast and the restaurant (not included in the rate) is very good too. Do not expect something new on accommodations. But for sure you have hot water, air conditioning.. and after all, you will not go to Ilhabela to be inside the room.

Where divers meet

The Hotel Colonial Diver, as the name implies, it is chosen by divers as it is located just a few steps from the exit site for Ilha das Cabras, fish nursery, in addition to having a store that carries out the equipment rental for diving. As my instructor used to say, the hotel is everything a diver needs, bed, shower and air conditioning.
In my opinion the hotel sinned a lot in cleaning, both of the rooms as the hotel in general. My room was not clean, I noticed that the floor was full of sand grains, in addition to miss a drain in the bathroom stall. The hotel also has cats, which my girlfriend and I loved, but with the presence of animals some care must be taken, such as cleaning the feces, which in this case have a very strong odor, and was common in the hallway to the rooms.
But we love the fact that he is very close to the point that we would dive, facilitating the shift, plus a breakfast that pleased us (do not go expecting a breakfast worthy of 5 * hotel), and the price, I do not remember for sure, but for the weekend for a couple it was not expensive.
My final thoughts: I particularly agree to pay a little more to have access to the clean and well maintained rooms, but would not prevent me from returning to visit you soon.

For the diving crowd

This is the second time we stayed at Colonial. Its customers are mainly divers going to scuba dive or snorkel at a small island right across the property. This place is not for everyone, but it’s got some nice things going for it.
The ups:
The location. If diving is your thing, this is the place. The hotel is about 3km south of the ferry boat, and on the same site of a competent diving operator. There is a small island practically swimming distance from the beach, which is a nice diving and snorkeling point. The operator also offers trips to some other islands an hour or so away and to shipwrecks. Divers stay here because they can go straight from their rooms to the boat.
The view. Nice view of the channel and the island. But get a room on the second floor.
Service. From the manager (Gil) to the cleaning staff, everyone is extremely informal, friendly, and accommodating. Kudos for them.
The downs:
The rooms. In our room, the air-conditioner was barely keeping the room comfortable (granted, it was a very hot weekend), the bathroom door creaked horribly, one of the outlets did not work, and the mattress sagged. But everything was clean.
So-so:
Breakfast. Not the best buffet breakfast we’ve had, but had most things people want. Could improve a bit.
