Wonderful stay.

People at FAROL DO MORRO make it! They are wonderful. And they cook the best pizzas ever!!!!! The place is really well situated . The views from the rooms is really great.Can't wait to be back. we feel at home!!!!!

I didn't like it.

The room has a smell of sewage every morning, we requested room cleaning and did not change towels, did not repuse soaps, access is difficult and slippery when wet. I do not recommend.

"I bought a pig in a poke"

Positive points: Location, sea view and pool.
Negative points: abandoned accommodation, with poor furniture, old bed and bath linen, poor hygiene, bathroom with no shower stall and no floor mat or hand towels; horrible accessibility, as the only access to the upper floors (cable car) is disabled; Horrible breakfast, with stale or wilted fruit, and few options.

Horrible experience

What a terrible experience! Inn with terrible facilities, little light due to the number of flights of stairs. Room service can be categorized as the worst I have ever encountered. A shame, after all the location is excellent, close to everything. The reception even tries to balance the bad experience by paying attention to guests, but unfortunately it is not enough. I can't help but mention the poor quality of the breakfast. This situation didn't make my trip bad at all, because I was in Morro and the place is incredible! I will return to Morro (you can't afford to go just once in your life). However, I do not require anyone linked to the group in question for this stay.

Good value in heart of Morro

We stayed for 6 days in a family room. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room had comfortable beds and a balcony with hammocks where we could watch the world go by.
The swimming pool is up a few steps as the hotel is on a hill and small but great to cool off in and for the kids to play. The funicular works intermittently.
Breakfast was OK but bar menu service by the pool was slow and many items not available. There is also no longer a sushi bar.
Overall great value though.
