Cozy place

Beautiful place, comfortable, with various leisure options, wonderful food, has the Pavesi Vinícola which has wonderful wines, the owners are very dear. We stayed in their new space that has a hot tub, very good breakfast, well served meals, the owners are a dear one, we love it!

DECEPCIONANT

I made my reservation for the Reveilon of 2025, in the said best chalet of the guest house, but we were surprised by the conditions of the room, everything was careless, the oldest things, worn out, there were things like unfinished walls, curtain falling in the corner, wires without finishing, and we noticed a precarious hygiene, recently had rained and wet part of the room, but no one looked to take care, dry, finally, before our arrival, in addition, there is a restaurant, which by advertisements looks great, but was closed, the access to the chalet, it is not safe, it had rained and we almost stumbled. We did not have a good impression, we tried to expose our discomfort, but unfortunately, we were not understood, we passed as demanding customers, and that the guesthouse has a rustic proposal, although the owner said that he has been through this situation out of time. It was constricting to have to say that it was not just hygiene. The photos of the chalets do not match the reality, it is a daily of 1200,00 which was charged to us was important at least a presentation with more capricho, the simple is not unleashed. We think that it would make no sense to be left out for a revival, with that value of the diary. We tried to talk to try to negotiate the payment, but he said that he would try to rent and if he could then return the paid, but he couldn't and they told us to take the appropriate arrangements. What care are these people?! I don't usually make complaints, but I thought it was important for other people not to go through what we went through, I believe that if we wanted something this way the value should be different then it would make more sense.

Best hosts ever!

Surrounded by nature, with amazing feshly harvested organic food and the loveliest hosts ever. The rooms are basic but very cosy. If you like trails and biking in the middle of nature, this is the place for you. I left the lodge with my batteries fully charged!

Peaceful and very friendly hosts !

I went there with a team of volunteers supporting research fieldwork activities in the rainforest nearby. The location is amazing, in the middle of the nature, surrounding by rainforest and a little village with very friendly and discrete local people.
Our hosts at the Pousada were very warm, friendly and helpful during the whole duration of our stay. The cabins are in conditions, and the food is great prepared with organic vegetables from the garden and very simple and traditional Brazilian dishes.
Really enjoy mt two weeks there. If you are looking for a rustic and peaceful experience in a wonderful environment here is the place to go !

Warm and Friendly hosts - rustic but clean

I went with a group as part of an Earthwatch expedition. The beds are small by USA standards and somewhat hard but despite this, (and I am not a good sleeper) I slept very well each night. There were some cockroaches in the bathroom, but it is rustic so much as I expected. The hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable. When we asked for additional blankets due to the cold, they were brought to us right away. We were furnished with all our meals as part of the trip and the food was very good and plentiful. Nice hot water in the shower although I did hear from another guest that their water did not stay hot. Other than a few cockroaches, there were no bugs in the rooms and the rooms were cleaned daily. Having a refrigerator in the room was nice. One thing we Americans were shocked to hear is to not put toilet paper into the toilet. I guess the piping is very small. I think this may be common in this area? By the end of our week, the hosts told us we were now family. Very warm, inviting, and friendly. The area is very interesting but since we were there to work, we didn't get to see as much as I would have liked. We were studying birds and there were many.
