Excellent hotel!
The Hotel Stop Inn Plus Pampulha has a great location, practically next to the Mineirão and close to the Lagoa da Pampulha. It is a good accommodation option, with comfortable rooms, varied and quality breakfast. Highlight is the terrace with pool, which offers a beautiful view of the area. Excellent cost-benefit!

Impressive how this hotel fell in my opinion
It is very far from the center of Belo Horizonte and very close to Mineirão and Mineirinho, so the stay is interesting for those who go to one of the latter during their stay, although the noise from these places can bother those who are not interested in being so close to the stadium and the concert stage.
No luggage trolley.
The environment is simple, especially because there is no room for invention. The double bed is flanked by bedside tables, lamps and sockets. There are no excess sockets – in addition to what has been said, there is one more on the counter and another in the bathroom. The lighting is by section and has a very positive result. Especially on the bench, you can read effortlessly. The light standard is 127 V, I like to note this, as I have imported equipment that is not bivolt.
Another object of praise would be the chair with wheels, but in addition to being very uncomfortable due to the lack of padding, there was no way to adjust it while remaining in the lowest position. On the 2nd day I used the pillows which helped.
Just a curtain divided into 2 parts – which increases the entry of light – which doesn’t please anyone. In addition to not being a Blackout, allowing a brighter than desirable light even when closed - in a summer where the sun rises around 5:30 (see the photos with the curtain closed and draw your own conclusions) -, it is also not bright enough , to protect privacy without darkening the environment too much.
The TV remains standard in this type of hotel – 32” flat screen. What made it worse were the channel options. The truth is that they were never good, but now there is no cable channel, only open TV. I could complain that its position does not favor those who want to work on their laptop and watch TV at the same time, but as I said, the channel options were so bad that it remained turned off.
Using Windows, the WiFi signal fluctuated a lot in intensity, but in practice it didn't affect browsing much.
When I arrived, the tiny minibar was unplugged, closed and full of water due to defrosting – the tendency is for it to be closed with water inside and it won't take long to have problems with mold. The minibar is stocked, which I like. Another good point is that it was close to the bench where I worked, I just had to reach out my hand to get what was inside.
The wardrobe is close to the door, which makes me feel insecure, especially due to the lack of a latch. I also missed the peephole. The safe, an acquisition always welcomed by security, was out of batteries, I complained and the problem was resolved. It was a big safe, because my notebook, which fits in very few, after some contortion, it fit. There was a good area for hanging clothes, with 6 hangers.
In the bathroom: hairdryer, 2 bath towels and a face towel, shampoo (with cap) and 2 soaps. In the small sink, single tap for hot/cold. In the shower, which looks like a waterfall (I haven't decided if that's a compliment) there is a tap for hot water and another for cold water (boring). For the list “Made by those who won't use it”, because if it were, you would notice something wrong: the towel holder is placed on the opposite side of the shower exit. You wet the entire bathroom floor to reach it. Just place it behind the bathroom door.
I know there's a pool, but I didn't get to see it. Covered parking is included in the price, as is “hotel standard” coffee.
In the only room service I was entitled to more hassle. It's a lack of sense of priority - yes, because when I arrived from lunch, they were cleaning the carpet on the floor -, consideration - 5 minutes after entering the room and turning the sign so as not to disturb, there was a knock on the door - and of respect - I wanted room service, but it should have been done while I was away. If there is a warning on the door not to be disturbed, it must be respected. They should have continued the service in the other rooms on the floor, as they did after bothering me and if I left again, as happened, they would do the work, without even contacting me. The maids always do their best to get out of work.
The stay was short, considering that I am not an “ordinary tourist”, as I live and spent most of my time in the room, in what I value most such as TV channel options, internet, maintenance and service, surrounding services and quality of service. sleep – the hotel was bad. I no longer like the MHB chain because of the terrible service and problems with room service. This was the only one worthy of merit, perhaps that's why the Plus in the name. After this stay, which was thankfully short, it will be difficult to return. If the chain doesn't take the guest seriously, why should I take them.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed
Worst hotel and worst cost benefit q ever stayed, I paid unbelievable R$ 500.00 in July 2024 to stay in a dirty hotel (badroom had apparent dirt), with bad bed, the bathroom doors were broken and broken, the overall aspect of the hotel is 2 stars, do not be mistaken. The room was old and that pq paid for the luxury, imagine the others... Reception check in were super badly polite, they made me look for parking outside the hotel and I had to pay R$ 100,00 and dps we went to the station still had vacancy, it was laziness of the maneuverist to go there check if there were still vacancies. Breakfast pretty weak tb. Everything is awful!!!

Terribly, I asked for an extra blanket, and they didn't provide it, they said the hotel was full and they didn't have any more. But it was a lie, because the receptionist herself changed our rooms, and said she was only making this change because there were rooms available. The bed couldn't even turn, it felt like it was going to fall, horrible garage access, very tight. I don't recommend it, despite it having an excellent location, but I wouldn't stay there again.

Very good! Just one caveat regarding the garage.
A great hotel located next to the Mineirão stadium. Polite staff, breakfast with many varieties, very good and clean room and bathroom. The only caveat is regarding the garage: extremely difficult to maneuver and park there (especially for larger cars); very narrow. The employees themselves reported this problem to us.
