Perfect.

Charming and bespoke welcome, very spacious apartment and exceptionally beautiful site with swimming pool overlooking the sea.
Free bike rental to navigate the island is necessary.
I highly recommend, the owner is extremely kind and caring, I loved it!

Great owners, poor location

The owners of this apartment are generous and gracious, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The apartment has beautiful marine-themed mosaics inlaid everywhere. The reason I gave this property a 3 is that it’s quite far from the main area of Caye Caulker and there are no amenities anywhere nearby. No coffee, no restaurants, nothing. It’s past the airport on the opposite side of the island from the action. We had a lot of rain, so this posed an even bigger problem than it would have during a normal week. I strongly suggest that you stay near the main part of town to make your vacation more workable.

Beautiful place

We stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. Abel is a great guy and host. Always making sure we were comfortable. Everything you need is here. Piece and quite, a big swimming pool, very large well equipped room, free use of bikes and a private dock to relax and swim. Free internet. Easy and fun bike ride to town along the beach. Airport is a 2 minutes away.

Tranquil, unfussy and friendly!

If you’re looking for value for money, Novelo is for you. It is basic but perfectly comfortable. Abel has built and furnished the apartments with great care and attention and you can tell. He is a wonderful host- he lent us bikes, head torches and even drove us to the harbour with our bags on our last day. Make no mistake, Novelo is far from the town but if you enjoy cycling it is actually a lovely bike ride along the beach- very scenic.

Rustic retreat out of the noisy village.

Close to the airstrip, The Novelo is a quiet refuge from the rest of the tourists and partying. A short walk to be in the middle of it all, this rustic retreat still has all the amenities and more, with a pool you can use, and free bikes. what??? How awesome. It is rustic and basic, but still clean and all you need.. Definitely well worth the money!! Best deal on the island. Awesome wifi and right on the beach!
