Very bad

I wish the boss of hotel can see this comment and reply too me. I left 1000 pound on the room when i go back the money was missing next day someone open the door with another card and try too come in the room. The guy on reception was involved. When yiu live the room they goo in too serch for money.

Establishment to avoid

A hotel made for local workers and not for tourists (in fact that was the only thing in the hotel), staff not friendly at all, false advertising both in the photos and in the services. The highlight of the show: prostitutes every night at our neighbors who we thought were in our room, cigarettes forbidden but which are happily smoked upstairs. Honestly, I couldn't wait to leave the establishment....

Cold, smelly, bed bugs

Cold and the heater in the room not working, and the window not fixed to the wall (the whole window and frame came away from the wall when I opened the window). Smells damp. Infested with bed bugs, their faeces all over the head board and one visibly just sitting there, I'm covered in bad bites. I like my hotels simple but this place is a disgusting dump.

Good for the Price

My main concern when looking for hotels during my trips is the price and often times I find that reviews are extremely harsh so I usually book and formulate my own opinion. Hotel Bentley was in a pretty good area with lots to do and the price was definitely right so I decided to book.
When I arrived early, the lovely young lady working gave me two rooms to go and look at so I could check in early which I thought was so nice. I had a pleasant experience with all the staff as a matter of fact. They were all friendly.
The room was exactly what I expected it to be. Basic, worn out, but suitable for what I wanted. The bed was comfy enough, there was two gigantic windows which allowed for fresh freezes to come in. Yes there was a lot of street noise but I didn't mind it. It wasn't the cleanest looking place or the newest looking place but I wasn't expecting the Ritz Carlton for the price I paid.
Ultimately, I would probably book here again. As I said, the staff was lovely, the room suited its purpose, and there was a lot close by. Plus, the bus directly to the airport was minutes away.

Just checked into this hotel and left immediately. The room, whilst clean, was in a state of disrepair and the bathroom quite frankly looked unsafe. Additionally, for a hotel that claims non smoking rooms they smelled very strongly of tobacco and damp. The place would benefit from a serious renovation. If you're looking for somewhere to simply crash for the night and don't mind absolute basic facilities this will probably be sufficient, but for us it was just disturbing. Went to reception to ask for partial refund and were told they don't refund bookings, so we cut our losses and left - it seems that they know they're not providing what they advertise on the websites. Proceed with caution ye who enter here!
