B&B to recommend.

Very nice B&B. Tastefully decorated. Modern. We spent 3 nights in the suite. The bedding is comfortable. The equipped kitchen is great. The owners are very attentive and friendly. The breakfast is very good and plentiful. We had a very pleasant stay.

Quietly located

Very quiet environment.
The room and the breakfast area urgently need small and large renovation work.
3 days same very basic breakfast. For us, a plain brown or white sandwich is also fine, it doesn't always have to be homemade bread rolls.
The prices at honesty bar are quite high, which is not inviting to enjoy a few drinks on the terrace.
There is a very large garden with a lounge
We also missed the cozy, warm feeling of home.

We will come back

After a cycling trip we stayed here 1 night, and had a good breakfast. The lounge area is a nice place to relax with a drink form the huge fridge where there are many drinks to choose from.
I didn't rate it excellent as there was a light smell of the owner's dog in the lounge/breakfast area.
The room, we had one on the second floor, was good and big enough for a 1 night stay.
Mind you though that you are not in Middelkerke, therefore not at the coast, but a few km inland. So, you'll need transport to get to the sea.

Starting up and promising

This young couple renovated this house and offer 2 large rooms and an apartment. This B&B - very recently opened on 15/07/17 - has a modern design, trendy bathroom and lovely breakfast room and living area. We loved the spacious bed! Breakfast is complete. Owner personally welcomes you and manages the business. She does well.
One comment: price is a bit high for being in a small village and not much to see. Seaside is still 4km to go.

Ideale logeerplek

Vermits wij twee dagen in de pop up arena in Middelkerke werden verwacht leek het ons een goed idee om daar te overnachten. Na wat gegoogel ontdekten we B&B Intermezzo. Zeer vriendelijk onthaal aan de telefoon en zeker ook ter plaatse. Goed geslapen en wakker worden van het gekraai van een haan ipv toeterende auto’s. Voor stadsmensen een openbaring. Het sluiten van het raam zorgde meteen voor zalige stilte en we sliepen als roosjes tot de wekker anders besliste. Prachtig zicht met blauwe lucht… veelbelovend begin van de dag. En dan moest het ontbijt nog komen! Keuzestress! Maar alles was lekker en ook meer dan genoeg. Het extra entertainment van kleine Jerom droeg bij aan de gezellige huislijke sfeer.
Een ontdekking! Wij komen zeker terug.
