A tranquil venue a short walk from Brugge's busy historic centre
This is an unusual but comfortable venue in an amazing location. It's a converted old coach house, which has two double en-suite bedrooms. It has an outside courtyard looking out over a narrow canal to the Minnewaterpark, through which is an attractive walk into the centre of historic Brugge. I stayed here with one of my adult daughters for 3 nights and we both loved it.
The host Bernard could not have been more helpful. We arrived by train from Brussels much later than expected because a suitcase from Heathrow went missing. Bernard kindly met us at the Station. If you're visiting Brugge and want a quiet retreat a short walk from the busy centre this is an ideal spot.
If you have mobility issues the stairs present a challenge.

First off, our host, Bernard met us at the train station and drove us to the property which was conveniently located next to the park. We fell in love with the house the minute we saw it. The interior is comfy with a working kitchen, lots of guidebooks and information about Bruges. There were two comfortable couches for us to lounge and relax on. We had the choice of two bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms. The house is a wonderful balance of old world charm with all the modern conveniences. I can't recommend this property enough.

Beautifully quaint B&B in great location. Completely recommend.
Arrived at 10 pm and greeted by Bernard who gave us a quick overview of Bruges including good walks, worthy sights, etc. The extra effort to be hospitable was a really nice touch and sold us immediately. The set up is quite quirky and unique. There is only space for 2 couples who stay above a communal lounge/breakfast area. In the winter you can get the fire going, in the summer, you can sit out on the patio overlooking the park. Location is excellent (5 mins from lake of lovers, 15 mins from town centre), breakfast is continental and faultless, can't recommend it enough.

This B&B is very rustic and a lovely place to stay in Brugge. It is very well located and the owners Bernard & Barbara go out of their way to make you feel at home. We enjoyed the lovely sun terrace overlooking the park and canal.

Wonderful stay
Our nephew recommended this gem to us and we are so glad that he did! From start to finish we were so pleasantly pleased with every aspect of our stay-greetings, recommendation for great restaurants and places to buy chocolates, sights to see via walking tours AND at the end of the day we relaxed and warmed ourselves by the fire and collapsed into a very comfortable bed. We woke up to a delicious breakfast that Bernard had delivered (after setting the table so beautifully) -the pastries, fresh juice, meats, eggs coffee, fruit and yogurt started our day's adventure in a wonderful way! We had cool but sunny days in Brugge-the second day after much walking, we came back and sat on the lovely patio (canal side) and warmed our faces in the sun while listening to the songs of the birds and watching tourists stroll through the beautiful park. The city at night is even more spectacular (hard to believe) than it is by day. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone travelling to Brugge! Bernard even gave us a ride to the train station the morning of our departure! Just fabulous!
