Wonderful stay. Climate control air conditioning was very nice to have in the room! Very near beachfront restaurants. Train into Bruges was a 10 min walk away.

Too loud, hardly quiet, despite a good breakfast.
It is a small hotel. The breakfast is really good, but unfortunately the rooms are not. It is loud, meaning sound carries easily. The rooms are extremely cramped, and a band from the restaurant played under our window at night. The blankets in summer are very thick, which did not suit my partner well. The location is good, close to the beach; you can visit Brussels. There are only 5 parking spaces. We parked further away for 10 € per night.
The beds are extremely uncomfortable; my partner and I had an unpleasant night, and we actually like hard beds. The beds were not hard, just somehow strangely uncomfortable. The walls here need a coat of paint; everything is super dirty. The floor was not laid cleanly. Otherwise it was clean, but I find that towel racks are missing in the bathroom near the sink. We had burn marks, probably from a cigarette or something on the curtain.
For the steep price that is charged here, even though it is near the beach, I regret that I chose this hotel. We have loud neighbors at home and had hoped for some peace and quiet before the move. Unfortunately, that was somehow very ruined for us. I think other rooms on the quieter side, if available, would have changed a lot, but those are probably exactly the more expensive ones.

es tut mir sehr leid, dass ihr keinen angenehmen Aufenthalt hattet.
An diesem Wochenende fand in der Straße ein Straßenfest statt, weshalb Musik gespielt wurde, allerdings nur bis spätestens 22 Uhr. Viele Leute finden das gemütlich. Alle Zimmer sind mit neuen Betten und Matratzen ausgestattet. Am Ende der Sommermonate muss hier und da sicherlich etwas repariert oder neu gestrichen werden; aufgrund der hohen Auslastung ist es nicht möglich, dies sofort zu erledigen, aber wir werden uns darum kümmern, sobald es etwas ruhiger wird. Was den Preis betrifft: Das Wochenende vom 15. August ist das geschäftigste Wochenende des ganzen Jahres, und daher sind die Preise in allen Hotels hoch.
Wir werden Ihre Anmerkungen auf jeden Fall berücksichtigen und, wo möglich, Anpassungen vornehmen.

Neat but small hotel rooms.
Good sleep, it was quiet in the night despite the hotel being very noisy.
Clean room with fresh look. It looks new to me. There was a smell of sewage regularly. Sometimes vague, sometimes more penetrating. The rooms are very small, door can not be locked from the inside. Neither is bathroom. No possibility to hang towels. Very narrow corridor and the stairs have not yet been renovated. Breakfast was good. The location of the hotel is good.
We had the misfortune that in our bathroom was an emergency door so thin that you could hear / understand everything in the bathroom next door. Not pleasant.

Sleep peacefully a stone's throw from the dike
The hotel is neat and seems to have been renovated not so long ago. However, the room was quite small. Positive point: You will quickly learn where everything is, because with one step you are about everywhere.
We were also lucky that our room overlooked the back of some buildings. Not exactly a view that belongs on a postcard, but one that made for a surprisingly peaceful night. Sometimes a neighbour's wall is nicer than a lively street.
Speaking of noise: on TripAdvisor we had read quite a few reviews about nighttime street noise, but we didn't notice anything of that as we were not on the street side. Our night's sleep was rather put to the test by enthusiastic fellow guests who apparently felt that the hallway was the ideal place for an evening chat.
The breakfast was ample and had everything you expect from a decent hotel breakfast: fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs, tasty pistolets, coffee cakes...
The location is also a plus: a few minutes walk from the seawall, making everything easily accessible.
All in all a pleasant stay. Don't expect a ballroom as a hotel room and bring earplugs if you encounter noisy fellow guests, but otherwise this is definitely a good choice.

Lovely for a day at the beach! Right in the center.
Rooms are very neat, with air conditioning which was very nice. Well on the small side but for 1 night this was perfect. Breakfast was very, very good! Staff were super friendly and helpful.
