The breakfast is always good with hot and cold buffet.The bar is good,offering a reasonable range of drinks.Overall a very good hotel with excellent staff.

Quality of a guesthouse rather than a hotel
This place is more like a guesthouse than a hotel. After my first night, nobody cleaned my room! They charge around €130 per night, which is a hotel price. If I had wanted to save money, I would have stayed in a guesthouse. Instead, I paid for a hotel and expected hotel-level service, but the service provided was more like that of a guesthouse. This feels like false advertising.
Despite temperatures reaching 30°C, the air conditioning was not working. It seems that the hotel decides when the AC can be used rather than allowing guests to control it themselves. This is false advertising, as the hotel advertises air conditioning but does not allow guests to use it when needed.
Another very unpleasant detail was the dead pigeon in the enclosed courtyard. It was there throughout my entire 4 night stay, and nobody bothered to remove it. This really added to the impression that basic maintenance and cleanliness are not a priority.
I would also recommend skipping breakfast at the hotel. The breakfast is more on the level of what you would expect from a guesthouse, while there are many better and more affordable options nearby.

Scammers
They lied about the prices.
A friend booked one night standing at the desk, and shortly afterwards he saw lower price advertised behind the reception desk on a digital screen... The receptionist said something like "too bad, the prices have gone done, but you have the higher price". The next day he wanted to book another night referring to the price on the screens. Another receptionist did not want to give that price, as "the screen is broken. I can not give that price". Lying and scamming in your face is a very bad look for Antwerp, and not allowed by consumer law.

Affordable central hotel with good breakfast, clean rooms and relaxed vibe
Excellent budget hotel in the centre of Antwerp, a few minutes away from Central Station and the main shopping street, with a mini supermarket next door. Hard to be more central that this, even the bus stop we came in from Brussels Charleroi Airport to on a Flibco Bus was literally round the corner from the hotel.
The room was very clean and modern, with a spacious bathroom and powerful shower. There is enough room and hangers for clothes for 3 or 4 nights stay. The room has a decent sized TV but no safe. The hotel is kept very clean and the noise level was low when the windows were shut. The air con works well.
The breakfast buffet was generally good and situated in a nice, well lit room on the sixth floor with an outside terrace. There was different cereals, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausages, croissants, fresh bread rolls and more, along with fruit juices and coffee machines. One thing that can be immediately improved though is replacing the toaster - it doesn't work well at all, even after putting the bread in several times it barely cooks, which is a bit frustrating. The bacon didn't look appetising either, but other than that, a decent breakfast for the price.
The staff were always friendly and willing to help. We needed some tickets printing for a train journey to Ghent, and the hotel sorted this for us on arrival after an email exchange.
Another good thing about the hotel is you can help yourself to coffees and water and sit out on the rooftop terrace and relax a bit in the hours after breakfast.
Would definitely recommend this hotel as a good priced option for people visiting Antwerp, and would not hesitate to book here again should I revisit the city in the future.

This is my go to hotel in Antwerp,I know several of the staff and always get excellent service.The situation is brilliant being 300 metres from Central station and 100 metres from the top of the Meir.
