The staff were great. Room was clean. But the carpets in the hallways need a makeover. Hotel a little bit on the old side. The staff really stood out.

Check in resulted in me getting a room where the bed wasn’t made and the phone was not working. Although I was given another room which was ready, during my stay, each night there was loud music coming from function events (or their in-house entertainment venue - which isn’t referred to in the hotel description) which was not ideal. Complaints were given to the front desk, to which they said they will ask for the volume to be reduced, but this did not happen. Breakfast is average, if that. Won’t come back again.

Very bad breakfast, terrible facilities and rooms are not sound proof.

Update to My Review of the Gulf Hotel Bahrain:
I would like to sincerely apologize for the tone of my earlier review. After sharing my feedback, I was truly moved by the genuine and thoughtful response from the hotel’s leadership. The General Manager, Room Director, Restaurant Director, and other senior staff all personally showed great concern and went out of their way to ensure my final day at the hotel was a memorable and positive experience.
Their attentiveness, professionalism, and sincere apologies demonstrated a strong commitment to guest satisfaction. I genuinely appreciate their efforts and would like to thank the entire team for their warm hospitality and dedication to making things right.
