Lovely hotel super location
There is a bar and you can eat there. There are two supermarkets nearby and it is very central. You're walking to the elevator. The ski bus also stops in front of the door.
We were in winter for skiing, the disadvantage if you sit at the front of the hotel is that because of the central location there is a lot of noise on the street by young people who are up late. In addition, the church bell is also very noisy, it is not sounded yearningly. He starts in the morning at 6.15am!

Three stars going on four
This is a combination of an old building and a new extension. Most of the bedrooms have been brought up to a modern standard. My bedroom had a comfortable bed with ample facilities: these included a kettle and tea/coffee sachets and a fridge. (Curiously, another guest I spoke with did not find the fridge until his last day.)
The bathroom (wetroom, actually) had a powerful shower, but no bath in my case. Not a problem, with lashings of hot water from the shower.
Food was excellent: buffet breakfast, and a good three-course evening meal. (Ample choices.) Staff were very attentive throughout.
The hotel has a public dining room, which seemed very popular with locals and non-guests. Guests had their meals in a modern extension.
Curiously, any drinks bought with meals in the dining room or comfortable bar had to be paid for at those locations - rather than charged to the room for payment at the end of the holiday. (Not really an issue, just means loads of entries on credit card statements.)
The bootroom was large and well appointed: it was good to see a couple of benches provided for putting on or taking off boots.
The Post is a 3* hotel. This was my 16th visit to Westendorf, staying previously in a 4* hotel. The Post was as good as the other - and the beer was better.

Highly recommended!
Even a previously discussed room change was handled smoothly, without effort for us, by the staff.
The breakfast is good (not high quality) and again the staff friendly and accommodating.
Ski storage and access to the slopes is perfect. Overall, the hotel is very central.
The restaurant can be recommended after our 1 times experience. Table should be reserved.
Value for money is reasonable. Would definitely come back.

Great location if skiing in Westendorf
It’s basic.
Rooms spotless and comfortable.
Staff very helping.
Breakfast was basic, buffet.
Dinner was ok. We went half board.
Good WiFi.
Storage room for ski gear.
Would return if skiing again in area.
